Kia Facebook Whanau & Welcome!
We are back with another post, this time we wanted to put on display some photos from our walk through the Taitua Arboretum... We wanted to show you the beauty & natural essence of our walk & how much joy it brought our babies to be amongst it... Look at how beautiful Aotearoa is and how lucky we are to have the opportunity to raise our babies amongst it...
"E kore au e ngaro, he kākano I ruia mai I Rangiātea." - I will never be lost, for I am a seed of Rangiatea.
We hope you enjoy these photos.

Morena! Welcome!
Today's inspirational quote is about learning how to be confident in your own skin ...
Confidence is something that I have lacked before I had babies but ever since having babies it has progressively gotten worse, seeing all the roles and the stretch marks, it has been really hard trying to come back from that ...
However, as our journey goes forward, I am slowly starting to appreciate my body that carried two babies ... ❤
Morena! Welcome!
08.06.2021 - Today's inspirational quote is about relationships ... ❤
Relationships aren't perfect and need alot of time, patience, & energy in order for two people to be together and happy forever ...❤
Relationships can also be a disaster & may not work all the time but if it does work out please remember to stop self sabotaging the happiness you have now for the experiences you had in your past ...❤
07.06.2021 - Today's inspirational quote is about my home sweet home ...❤
It was nice to go back home for the long weekend, we really didn't want to leave ...😥 I'm sure its not just me but that feeling of going home is just a warming feeling ... ❤ sorry if we haven't been posting over this weekend, have had no wifi or data (slacking, I know...)
Anyway, I miss home, can't wait to go back & chill out! Hopefully see some old friends from primary or high school 😊😃😺
05.06.2021 - 06.06.2021: The inspirational quotes for today is about have confidence in yourself and not letting anyone define your beauty but yourself ... ❤
Also, I wanted to dedicate an inspirational quote to one of my dearest best friends, even though we hardly talk, I just want you to know that I will always be here for you no matter what ... 🤍
No matter the distance, if you call ill be there for you (You know who you are!)... 💙
Morena! Welcome!
Today's inspirational quote is about using our strength, independence & knowledge to path a way for our children and our children's, children ...❤

E.W.C - Empowering with Culture
Kia Ora! Welcome!
We wanted to make this post really personal as we are so grateful for our families & friends who have supported our page ...
We assume you have some questions, such as;
- Why we created this page & all of our social media platforms (which you can check out via clicking on our link in our ABOUT section of this page)?
&
- What's its purpose?
Well, as far back as I could remember, I've always wanted to own my own business ... (That is something my family know about me (I always mention it), although it has been difficult trying to decide what to sell & what would make our business unique, I decided the reason why I always wanted a business of my own was because by owning my own business I would be able to help not only support my family but also be able to help people in our community and wider New Zealand.
However, due to limited amount of funds to start a business & trying to finish University as well as raise two children, we decided to try something more personal and close to home. We decided that by creating a personal blog and using our journey into adulthood & past experiences so far, we would be able to use this platform to help others tackle difficult discussions and raising awareness about family violence & supporting teen parents who are struggling ...❤
So, once again thank you for supporting our page if you have any questions please feel free to message us and we will make each response as special as it deserves ...🥰
If you could please continue to support our page through sharing it either through word of mouth, social media platforms etc. We would much appreciate it ...💚
Nga Mihi! Many Thanks!
E.W.C WHĀNAU: Empowering with Culture!
E.W.C can mean many things. When we first came up with the name we had just taken the first letters of our lastnames and put them together without any real meaning. But now, as we have been going through this journey to adulthood, our purpose is much more. We feel that by using our culture we are able to empower both men and women.
Because family violence is not necessarily because of males within the relationship but sometimes us females can be abusive without even realizing it.
And thus kõrero applies also to teen parents. There are solo teen dads that are suffering & doing what they can for the benefit & welfare if their tamariki. They too suffer just as much even more than solo teen moms but no one wants to talk about that! We think its time for our generation to be better and to make a change ...❤
Kia Ora! Welcome!

Ko E.W.C Whanau toku ingoa. My name is Honour, my partner is Christopher-lee and we created E.W.C Whanau because family is everything to us. Currently I am a stay at home mum with our two beautiful boys and also a full-time student at the university of waikato currently on my last year. My partner is an engineer currently building his skills and knowledge to further in the industry that he is in.
The reason we created this blog is to share the day in the life of the Epere Wirihana Curry Whanau. We are going to share our up & down moments that relate to others who maybe experiencing what we experience and try to connect on that level.
