This is a permanent full time role based in our Killarney Road, Frankton store in Hamilton.

🍮 We are looking for pastry chefs with a passion for food, especially sweet treats and desserts!

🍦 You are a key player in our team who achieves when working with a set baking schedule and output KPI's

🍰 The successful candidate is Chef qualified. They are a self starter with reliable transport and are willing to work as rostered day or night shift.

Full Gumdrops process and procedure training will be provided.

Other responsibilities of this role include;
🟣 Reporting to and following the lead of the Head Chef
🟢 Controlling and directing the food preparation process and any other relative activities
🔵 Constructing desserts with consistency as per recipe
🟡 Ensuring accurate portion size and quality control of the servings and packaging before they reach the retail
🟤 Participate in the estimation of workload and staff compensations when requested
🟠 Comply with all Health & Safety and Regulatory requirements set by food governing authorities
⚪️ Be at work on time, in a clean uniform with appropriate clean footwear

plus Any other reasonable duties as directed by Management

About you ❤️
We are looking for someone who values honesty, shows integrity, has an amazing work ethic and is willing to learn. Great listening skills and the ability to follow instructions comes naturally to you. If you like to be in charge - this is not the role for you. If you like having your work load outlined for you to manage, then you are perfect for this role! You are a self starter and make it to work on time, all of the time 🙌

Lady Whistledown here with a tantalizing tidbit: the renowned Gumdrops Desserts has unveiled a lemon meringue pie that is sure to become the talk of the (hamil) Ton.

This kiwi classic, adored by all yet seldom made at home, features a tangy lemon curd ensconced in perfectly baked pastry, topped with a fluffy, crisp-on-the-outside meringue.

My sources say those craving a citrus delight will reach their tastebud pinnacle... consider it an essential addition to an exquisite range.
