This past weekend the Cemac Team spent the evening watching our local Waikato Rugby team. Not only did we get to witness some awesome rugby, but we got to enjoy amazing food and drinks from Montana Food and Events. Thanks for making it a great evening Waikato Rugby , we can't wait for next time!

Forklifts And the Hidden Threat: Damaged Racking

Implementing strong safety measures and best practices for forklift use is crucial for maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. By prioritising regular training for operators, proper maintenance of equipment, adherence to established safety protocols, and regular inspections of your pallet racking system, you can mitigate the risks associated with forklifts. At Cemac our Team of Installers have all completed their forklift training and have obtained licenses to safely operate forklifts in our warehouse and on site. Pallet racking inspections should be conducted at intervals not exceeding 12 months by competent inspectors, however, additional inspections can be scheduled based on the company’s preference, we have approved inspectors who are capable of providing comprehensive storage racking inspections, so call us today if you are in need a checkup or for your annual check.

Solstice
Soothing, rich and organic. Scandi meets Mediterranean and African landscapes. With warm neutrals, rich browns and cool blue accents. Materials are tactile and forms are sculptural. The vibe is safe and homely- evoking feelings of warmth, security and strength. ­This translates to commercial spaces well, inviting our staff back into the office after periods of working from home. Straight hard lines and grey tones of office spaces are a thing of the past, in its place are rolling curves, and warm neutrals.

Journey
Full of Boho charm and eclectic allure with heavy patterns and texture. Weaving past and present brings about a vintage vibe. It’s not a look for the minimalist, with eclectic arts and craft influences. A cultural melting pot with colours like red plums, and yellow greens.

Muse
Nostalgic, a fusion of retro throwbacks of the 60s, 70s and 80’s. It’s a free spirited palette, with rich bold tans and deep dramatic greens. It is a relaxed mood, with materials including polished metal and velvet. The furniture is low slung and the forms are curved.

Cemac completed a full fitout in Convex New Zealand Ltd new building, from the Office through to the Warehouse space! Working with Louise, Cemac turned the empty building into a productive and inviting space for Convex to move into!
The project included the installation of a welcoming reception area with the impressive acoustic wall. Additionally, the café and entire office area was fitted out, with the products being thoughtfully selected and strategically placed in their designated areas.

Convex New Zealand Ltd recently relocated to a new building, and we were fortunate to be entrusted with the task of installing their Selective Racking system. The chosen Dexion Speedlock Selective Racking provides an impressive total of 556 pallet positions. Fire baffling, in-rack sprinkler systems and rack and sprinkler protection were also installed as part of this project. 🏙

Our recent project, in collaboration with Matt South Designer , following his brief, aimed to create a space that was welcoming and comfortable, yet professional and elegant. To provide additional storage, we utilized our Industrial Longspan Shelving which we believe added an awesome touch!

This system includes 114 shelves that reach a height of 9 meters.
