Love live cricket...
We are going to celebrate the Blacks Caps qualifying for the inaugural World Test Championship Final by hosting an event at The Londoner in Hamilton. The first day of the test is going to be on the big screen. Join us this Friday, from 8.00pm onwards, to soak up the atmosphere, in what will be an historic cricket occasion. There's no door charge. Please RSVP to [email protected] so we can get an idea of numbers. It's important that we inform the owner of The Londoner about how many people will be attending beforehand, so he can arrange the appropriate number of bar and kitchen staff.
See you there!

Merry Christmas
The biggest game on the Seddon Park calendar is this Sunday night. New Zealand are playing Pakistan in a 20/20 international fixture. After the success of our test match events New Zealand Cricket, Northern Districts and Seddon Park officials have allowed us to erect our marquee in the prime location of the raised lawn. This vantage spot is the best in the ground and is normally only given to corporate hospitality. This is a magnificent opportunity for us.
I encourage you all to attend this premier Seddon Cricket Club event - and end the year with good company while watching quality International cricket. See you on Sunday wearing Burgundy & Pink.
Dear All,
It is with pleasure that I endorse the reinvigoration
of Seddon Cricket Club, a club formed by former New Zealander cricketer Evan Gray in 2015. The purpose of the club is to provide cricketers of all levels, together with enthusiasts of cricket, with an opportunity to engage with likeminded people whether they be their contemporaries or from a different generation and also to participate in matches if that is their wish.
The concept is based on the MCC and Lord Taverners in England and closer to home the Wanderers Cricket Club in Wellington and the Willows Cricket Club of Christchurch.
The overriding desire is to enjoy one’s company with other cricket tragics and to support the traditions and ethos of the great game of cricket.
Northern Districts Cricket is central to this concept and we wish to embrace their alumni as a key part of our club.
In addition to fixtures of varying levels, we want to embrace the social aspects of the game in a number of forms that will be outlined in the near future.
I hope you share my enthusiasm for the concept and I look forward to engaging with you in all things cricket in the very near future.
Yours in cricket.
