To all those that have been following along we have the best news. FRANKIE is HOME!

She is very tired, as we all are, but she is home. A wider search party was assembled for a sweeping search of the area on Saturday. Everyone including several club members met a 10am to scout the area in the hopes of flushing her out.

But this amazing dog was on her way home!

She was picked up by a local Waikato-based hunter running up one of the entry roads 10 km from her last known sighting.

We are so grateful to have her back home and we are delighted to report that she hasn't left Sara's side since.

Thank you to everyone who has followed along and donated to our give-a-little page. This page will now end later tonight but there is still time to throw a few extra donations at it if you can. Sara will use these funds to help offset her expenses and to thank all those that have made this reunion possible.

https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/frankie-needs-our-help

This is a fabulous outcome and we can't wait to see you all on Tuesday Frankie-dog, welcome home.

Photos from Waikato Canine Obedience Club's post 30/07/2023

Friends we need your help! Frankie & Sara are members of our WCOC Committee, they were out hiking over the weekend and got into some strife and Frankie is now out missing in the bush.

We have setup a Give-a-Little page to help support Sara financially with cost associated with finding and getting Frankie home.

If you are in a position to throw a few bucks towards this they will be greatly received.

Funds will be used to help pay for specialist dog search & rescue teams, vet bills and other associated costs.

Jump over to our website for the like to the Give-a-little page

18/07/2023

Intermediate One - Meet on the left-hand side of the field at the far end with your dogs at 6.30pm.
