On the 15th of this month I got the car out again for a wee skid after 6 months sitting in wait.
The event was Jacks Ridge Rallysprint as part of the CPS Northern Rallysprint Series which was also used as the 1st round of the NIRS: North Island Rally Series.
We managed to win the Historic Class in both the NIRSS & the NIRS.

We have had the privilege of working on this car since the build was started.
It has had several evolutions throughout its time under our care & his ownership, each one seeking to improve performance over the previous.

A nice little BMW 2002 we brought into modern times.
We removed the Weber Carbs to fit Jenvey Heritage Throttle Bodies with a MAXX ECU controlling the fuel & ignition.
We also manufactured a bespoke stainless steel exhaust system including headers.
The transformation in drivability has turned this into a eaiser to use classic car with better response, power & fuel economy.

A Nissan 240RS we readied for use after it had been sitting unused in a shed for a long time. Produced very respectable power from it's Cook Motor Racing engine.

A couple of nice whit HSV VF GTS Commodores we did a few months back.

One we took from as it arrived stock making 324kw (434hp) at the rear wheels to as it left with over 707hp (527kw) at the the rear wheels.
We supplied & fitted Xforce Stainless LSA Headers & twin 3" Stainless Exhaust. We also installed a Camshaft Kit, CNC Heads, LSA Lid Spacer, LSA Head to Blower Spacers & Front Intake Kit., aong with Injectors & an upgraded 1000hp drop in Fuel Pump Module.

The second was previously modified & tuned by another company, it however had some issues with idling & poor divability. We found that with the modifications previously done they had not upgraded the fuel pump & it was not able to keep constant fuel pressure under high boost & in the upper rpm.
We also fitted a 1000hp drop in Fuel Pump Module to this car & then gave it a tidy up of the tune to fix all the drivability issues. We were also able to get a bit more power out of it once we had resolved it's fuelling issue.

I wonder how long until this will be available as a "Crate Engine"

GM Announces 5.5L LT6; 670HP, Four Cams, And A Flat Plane Crank With Chevrolet's new Z06 reveal, comes new details on the all new 5.5L twin-cam LT6 engine that will spin to the moon.

We are still working, getting caught up ready for the next influx once we move back down from level 3.

A project that is slowly coming together after a long wait due to COVID & shipping delays for parts from the USA. Only a few more bits to arrive & then we can tune it.
