And Breathe!

This afternoon our team spent some time with Wim Hof instructor at the awesome gym. We learnt the art of breathing, why we should breathe through our nose and not our mouth, charging our bodies, and mastering the art of shifting our bodies and organs from an acidic state, to alkaline.

There was an ice bath after for those who were keen! 0.4 degrees Celsius 🥶

A huge thank you to Jason for being such a great host and mentor. The GreenAir team are now powered up and breathing as one.

With Spring on our doorstep, the GreenAir team will be leaping headfirst into a month packed full of Health and Wellness activities. Designed to connect the team, reconnect our minds to our bodies, and learn self-care and the art of breathing to support with mental health in the workplace. By shouting so much about the positive benefits of plants and biophilic design, we want to practice what we preach, and what better way to do it...

We are buzzing with excitement to be able to support our design and management team with a month of unlimited yoga classes at Studio Red Wellness, a Wim Hof breathing seminar with Jason "Psycho" Suttie of Elite Thai Kickboxing, and healthy food and juices from the awesome Little Bird Organics to name but a few!

Follow us throughout the month of September to see what we get up to in support of our team's health and wellness journey.

Our first ever workshop and event talking all things biophilia, health + wellness and capped off with a fun terrarium building workshop for one of our amazing partners.

The feedback was incredible and it was such a privilege being able to share our passion and knowledge with some complete newcomers to the plant world… I think we have some new plant addicts on our hands!

Check out these renders for our latest commercial-residential project - the beautiful Seascape Tower in downtown Auckland. The project comprises two, 26.5m green walls that will contain over 1600 plants. Install TBC - probably early next year. Watch this space!

If you have the space and want to go big, then our in-house designed and supplied, LIGHTWEIGHT and SUPER MOBILE planters are a must.

Ranging from 1.5m up to 2.3m in height, these planters will really catch the eye.

Even though it has only just been installed, it already looks great, because it has been planted out with mature plants that we propagated at our nursery in Kumeū - and will only get better with age.

Our latest project is nearing completion. We’re very excited about this particular job, as it features a full-height living atrium containing over 2,000 plants, the majority of which we propagated ourselves. It also features our brand new ‘green balustrade’ system that we developed especially for The Victor.

We are very excited that our latest collaboration is nearing completion. Once open, The Victor Apartments, located in the beautiful beachside suburb of will represent the cutting edge of apartment living in NZ, especially given the huge amount of we have designed into it.

The Victor is set to redefine the skyline of Browns Bay and its design needed to be mindful of the impact it would have on its immediate surroundings, as well as the living environment for its new residents. From the outset, the developers vision was for a landmark building, with a plant-filled atrium and cascading plants draping the exterior. GreenAirs brief from him was simple… here’s the render, how do we make this happen?

A Green Victory Comprising 56 apartments and eight penthouses, as well as ground-floor retail and hospitality and two levels of basement parking, The Victor is set to redefine the skyline of this village-suburb and, as such, its design needed be mindful of the impact on it would have on its immediate surroundings,....

required something really special for the fit out of its restaurant - and GreenAir delivered! We grew and trained plants off site for months, so that they would thread through the frame above the bar and around the light fittings. We also custom-designed ‘ring’ plant holders for all the wall and ceiling-mounted terracotta pots. We love the results - do you?

Making plants the focal point of the design was the driving force behind the fit out of Mercury Energy's new head office in Auckland. The design team at Warren and Mahoney wanted to create something a little bit different by installing ‘gardens’ within the space, rather than have a few token plants dotted around the office.
