Ron Burgess

Original member 1984
HB Commercial Travellers Warehouse association
now known as Bay city club
Born in Wellington, Ron has lived in Napier for all his life apart from military service at Waiouru
He was ,along with fellow member Ken Weedon, put a extension that is where the stereo room is today.
Where the petanque Court is, was a hill that ran through the smoking room and was quite a Misson for the builders and club members to move by hand.
The extension that is the old fellas room was added by Colin Blithe and Blue Corlett and many , many other club members
A matter of interest was Ron was a traveling salesman that sold women's undergarments 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ron was president of the club in 2002/2003
An original member Ron still enjoys a beer and a chat with his contemporaries at his much beloved club , the Bay city.
