Beautiful morning for pruning 🌹 roses

For such small camellia plants they are sure giving their money's worth in flowers and had 2little fantails that were loving them...makes being outside even better!!!!

It's so rewarding seeing plants grow and flower

100 Camellias planted.. I'm glad they weren't any bigger as it was tough digging in rocky ground!!!
The plan is for them to eventually form a hedge to hide the tanks with the new admin building going in the middle of the plantings

Another day of progress.. The end is in sight..

And so it begins again.. Time to clear the frontage ..
Always so satisfying!!

I think all customers from now on need to get puppies as a pre requisite to me working there!
It really increases my efficiency tenfold!!

Just a little bit of hand mowing on slopes to get the heart pumping!!
Takes 3hrs on a good day..
Has taken bit of experimentation to find the easiest way to mow it.. Today I did the run along like a mountain goat before I lose my balance style!
Other days, it's the stand at bottom or top and throw the mower up and down !!

Once again I forgot to take before photos but there was no garden at front and overgrown around tree...
Im so happy with this garden, the rest of section is still a work in progress.. Have removed two long gardens along fence line to be replaced by lawn and redesigning a garden up by house..
I had so much fun and pleasure designing this garden and choosing the plants and planting it up.

Latest progress on clearing the entrance.. Getting there.. Slowly but surely!!
My thought process has changed a little though, after seeing the morepork a few months ago , changed about how much to cut down.
It's hard to see in the after photos.. But I have left some of the beech undergrowth that moreporks like to live in .
I'm intending to leave even more in the next area I do.

This was the highlight of my day seeing this little guy.. I was looking around deciding whether to cut down any more trees and I looked up and saw the death stare telling me NO!!!!
He never left.. Just sat in the tree watching
