Grounds are still closed tomorrow everyone, for trainings and games

GROUNDS CLOSED | Monday 22nd & Tuesday 23rd July

All grounds in Napier & Hastings will be closed for training and games, Monday & Tuesday this week with an update to come Wednesday morning.

We want to give the grounds the best chance to be ready so that all football can go ahead from Saturday, following the rough weather we have had and the limited number of matches that were able to go ahead this past weekend.

This does mean the Under 15 Top 6 games that are due to be played Monday 22nd July will be postponed to a later date.

Continuing for Term 3: Skill builder involves lots of small-sided games and touches on the ball to develop technical skills in a fun and games-based environment.
Some of the topics your child will learn are ball skills, control, dribbling, passing, beating players, jockeying, and tackling. Kids will develop technical skills, game understanding, decision making, and most importantly having fun!
AGE GROUPS - 6-7 YEARS, 8-9 YEARS, 10-12 YEARS. $120 PER CHILD.
23rd July - 24th September - EVERY TUESDAY FROM 4PM-5PM

Last Sunday The Thirsty Whale Restaurant and Bar Napier City Rovers Football Club played in their opening game of the Chatham Cup against Palmerston North Marist Football Club. The team had some special guests from our junior members. Players from the NCR Mermaids, Dolphins and Robins were the mascots for the day, walking out onto the field with the players in their Pink shirts. Then afterwards managing to get some autographs. Last weekend we had members from The Thirsty Whale Restaurant and Bar Napier City Rovers Football Club team come down and do some coaching with our junior sides. A great sunny Saturday morning was enjoyed by all. Thanks to those players that came down.
