A simple explanation on how Microneedling works 💡

The first star of the show, a quiet hero in advanced skin care, the home Microneedling Derma Roller.

How does Microneedling work?

The fine needles puncture the skin, creating a channel or ‘micro-wound’.

These process of creating these micro-wounds injure the superficial collagen strands and small blood vessels, triggering an inflammation response, with the body releasing growth factors, proteins and fibroblasts as part of the repair process, leading to the production of new collagen and elastin.

This results in a thickened skin, with improved firmness and texture, as well as minimising the appearance of scars and fine lines.

Hydration retention is also improved as the result of a thicker, stronger skin barrier.
