I hope you're all having an amazing weekend. Over the last week I have had a little time to create some earrings for the website which I will be uploading from Monday, but until then here's some sneaky pictures of what is to come 😉.

Most of the pink pairs have Swamp Kauri and the Forest Greens have repurposed Mahogany.

It's good to be creative again!

Spring has definitely sprung and we are looking forward to getting back in the work shop and creating some new pieces for the website as well as returning to the markets - very soon.

For now though, I couldn't resist taking a wee shot of my copper kowhai earrings in amongst the beautiful flowers at home.

These one of a kind 'sisters' have been hand shaped and sanded from repurposed Mahogany and a blend of sea foam inspired resin.

I call them sisters because they have been made from the same block of resin. So although unique in size and shape they have similarities, just like family do.

Freshly made last week, these petite earrings will help elevate your style night or day. Hanging from 14K Gold Filled hooks and with a mixture of colour's they're super cute.

Also if you're not sure what the difference is between gold plated and gold filled. A simple explanation is this...

Gold plating is when a small layer of Gold is coated over the top of a base metal. While Gold filled is when layers of Gold is wrapped around the base metal (meaning more gold is used and it won't tarnish or chip, like a plated item can). Also it's a cheaper alternative then a solid Gold hook for those that find themselves only able to wear Gold in their ears.

The last few weeks have been super-fun exploring with new tools and playing catchup with my copper pieces (which have been proving to be popular at the markets of late).

I've been busy in the workshop creating some unique pairs for The Nelson Market and the Mapua Easter Fair this weekend, which provided the perfect opportunity to explore the fantastic ICE Resin from Serenity Hill Designz.

To those who have freshly followed or discovered our items - every thing we create is made by hand. With each item lovingly hand shaped the old fashion way with sanders (not by molds, Laser or CNC machines). I, Teresa create the earrings; and my husband Rowan creates the pendants. We really value our creations to be as unique as they can be, and shy away from replicating designs if they are not part of a range (like our Constellation or Viking Rune pendants).

We attend every weekend at The Nelson Market and will also be attending the upcoming Mapua Easter Fair. Also if you're in Nelson you will be able to find a few of our items at the Nelson Classic Car Museum.
