Our Story

I established Zenian to be a specialist coconut products company here in New Zealand in 2006. Coconut oil and saturated fats were at that time, a highly marginalised and vilified category of food to consume. This was a deliberate commercial ploy by vested food, pharmaceutical, and medical industry interests.

Fortunately, the truth behind this came out on this around 2013. And coconut products are now widely stocked in supermarkets and organic stores everywhere - something I’d never thought I’d see in my lifetime.

I have a broad range of food and health interests. These are both physical and information products. And I’ll increasingly turn the focus of this FB Zenian site towards those.

I survived a heart attack, a triple bypass operation in 2016. Then a further heart attack in 2017 (yes in that order!). That just goes to show, that surgery fixes nothing in terms of resolving the underlying issues that drive heart attacks and strokes.
