Pause and take a moment to read our awesome Danni's testimony ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ”ฅ
____________________________________________________

Hey guys ๐Ÿค— My name is Dannielle, but most people call me Danni. I was born and raised in New Zealand ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ„๐ŸŒฟ

My Testimony:

I was lucky enough to be raised in a Christian household. I went to church every Sunday, learned about the Bible and followed the Christian values. These were important to me, but I was never really passionate about the faith. About finding ways to serve the Father and spread the Good Word. It didn't help that I'm so shy because that's what mainly held me back.

One of my biggest fears was getting baptized. I was so scared of being up there in front of everyone and telling them my story. I would be relieved whenever I heard someone say they got baptized when they were older, because it meant that I could put it off. I let my fears of messing up and being judged get in the way of why I would even be baptized. To publicly show that I had committed my life to christ.

Once I got older and joined Harvest Youth, I started to go to Hotfish and other events.

These, and my friendships in our youth group, made me genuinely want to follow God and not just follow my family. They helped me become comfortable with raising my hands during worship and going to the front. To talk about God.

It took some time, but I recently got baptized ๐Ÿ˜ I put those fears aside to publicly declare that I've committed my life to Christ. I'm still shy and don't really like talking in front of others, but I'm slowly becoming more confident through God.

Philippians 4:13
"I can do all this through Him that gives me strength."

Whatever background you come from, make sure that you actually want to follow Christ and aren't just half hearting it because of friends or family. Try new things in the church and dig deep into the word. Find the passion that God has laid on your heart to bring others to Christ.

My name is Danni, thank you for listening! ๐Ÿค—

Here is our beautiful Jessโ€™ encouraging testimony, definitely worth having a read ๐Ÿ˜Œ
____________________________________________________

My name is Jess, and this is my testimony:

Earlier this year, my school decided that for the first week of school instead of working on our subjects we would do various worksheets and activities on goal setting and making plans for the future. This didn't really bother me, except for the fact that it put a lot of pressure on me to know exactly what I wanted to do with my life - which I honestly didn't know.

I had never really felt the need to have a plan for my life, but my school obviously felt that it was important. It made me think that maybe I did need to have a plan, which worried me because I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I started to pray about it, and I reached the decision that I didn't need to have a plan right then and there - I simply needed to trust God and He would take me where He wants me to go and show me what He wants me to do. So, this year I started to really work on living in faith. I remember hearing someone say that thanking God after He comes through for you is gratitude but thanking God before He comes through for you is faith. So, I started thanking God for his plan for me, for what He was doing in my life and for getting me through the tough times that I was still struggling with.

I realise now looking back how much God has come through for me over the past year. I still don't really know what I want to do with my life, but I can now see all the seeds and opportunities He has planted in my life to help me grow, develop, learn more about my faith, relationship with Him, plus my skills, talents, and abilities ๐Ÿ’›

Bula vinaka, Mฤlล e lei lei, Talofa lava and greetings to all. If you guys don't know already, my name is Emmanuel and I hail from the beautiful islands of Fiji ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฏ

This is my testimony:

Coming into Harvest about 9 years ago, I honestly thought that we weren't going to be there for much longer. The first Sunday there, my first thought was "uh well, next church it isโ€. But as we started getting more involved with the church, it was safe to say that we had found a place to call home.

Fast forward to 2017, I was going into my first year of college. Heading into college I was considered to be a very shy kid. I would always be the one to be approached rather than approach them. I always stuck to myself and there were even days where I wouldn't talk to anyone other than my family. But as time progressed, I found myself doing things I wouldn't normally do and I can honestly say it is because of the people God put in my life, which is you guys (Harvest Youth).

Fast forward to present time, where I am currently leading in both school and youth, it is amazing to see what God can do with even the most timid people (such as myself). So, my encouragement for you guys is surround yourself with people that will uplift you, encourage you and even at times be honest with you because, it will be those people that will be there for you even in your lowest moments.

My name is Emmanuel and thank you for listening ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ
