Good morning everyone, thanks to the weather gods, cricket is on today! For most of us this is the last match of the season with the girls teams finishing up tomorrow. Go out there and have fun and hopefully we'll bring home more than a few well deserved wins!

Sharing a couple of choice moments from last week - well done Hugo and Isaac for getting Player of the Day for the Rockets! And, here is Onslow giving our chap a fist bump for getting a boundary - demonstrating supreme sportsmanship, great moment!

Our very own Rockets and Raptors faced off yesterday, ably captained by Liam and Sammy (pictured). Most valuable players were Alex (awarded by Raptors), Michael, Thomas (awarded by Rockets) and Nathan. Well done!

The Yr5 Heats played a great game yesterday against Johnsonville, really squeezing the runs out of every ball! Well done to Charlie for getting player of the day from both the opposition and his own team, recognizing his honesty on the field (even though it lost him a wicket) and excellent batting and bowling, coming away with a boundary and a wicket. Well done Charlie!

This week sees four of our female players competing at the year 6-8 and year 9-10 Hawkes Bay tournaments. So far the teams are unbeaten with good growth shown by the players. They’re also staying at Woodford House having a great time - I believe the pool helps! Pictured are Georgia, Grace and Aaliya.
