The Waimakariri District Council is committed to being a high quality provider of aquatic activities and programmes in the Canterbury region. The Council operates the Dudley Park Aquatic Centre and Kaiapoi Aquatic Centre all year round, and the Oxford Community Pool, and Waikuku Paddling Pool from November to March each year.
🏊♀️ Important Update 🏊♂️
Due to mechanical issues, the Learn to Swim Pool is currently closed. As a result, all Learn to Swim lessons will be temporarily held in the Leisure Pool until further notice.
Learn to swim lessons will run as normal!
Please note that during this time, there will be limited space in the lane pool. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience.

Dudley Spa update
We know how much you all miss the spa pool and we are working to have it open again soon.
Our contractors are working on the fix which unfortunately will require some significant works to drain and repair the filter.
At this stage we are looking to reopen the spa around 20 November.

Dudley is hosting the North Canterbury Swim Clubs Ribbon meet this weekend.
Friday 18th - 5pm onwards
Saturday 19th - 2pm onwards
Swim lessons will run as normal but there will be no public swimming during these times.
Unfortunately our Spa pool at Dudley Park is temporarily closed due to unexpected mechanical issues🏊♀️
Our team is working diligently to resolve the problem and ensure everything is back to normal as soon as possible.

Aquarobics update
Unfortunately the following aqua classes are cancelled at Dudley Park Aquatic Centre:
• Friday 4th October at 9am
• Monday 7th October at 7.15pm
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding. Our other aquarobics classes will run as normal.
Dear Customers
We have urgent maintenance at Kaiapoi Pool scheduled to go ahead on Thursday October the 3rd on the heating and ventilation system.
While this work is occurring there will be no air circulation or heating for a period, so we will be closing the facility for most of the day to manage the environment.
The facility will be open from 6am to 9am, but will be closed for the rest of the day.
Alternatively Dudley Park Aquatic Centre will still be operating as per normal, 6am to 9pm with space for recreation and lane swimming and all scheduled programmes running as per normal including AQUA at 9am 12noon & 7pm.
Thanks for your understanding & we will see you back at Kaiapoi pool soon.

Temperatures are down after the cool night but will be coming back up over the day.
All programmes will run as scheduled.

Due to uncertainty with the weather and potential morning driving conditions, Dudley Park Aquatic Centre and Kaiapoi Aquatic Centre will be opening at the later time of 8.30am.
