Cyclespot Group are pleased to be able share the Paw Justice early bird opportunity for their fundraising raffle before it is released to the general public.

Although weather may still impact the event, we will be the destination point of the rally. We anticipate riders will start arriving at Cyclespot, 10 Wairau Road, Wairau Valley by about 1.30pm. People are welcome to register for the event either via the on line link:

Not many sleeps left until the much anticipated Cyclespot Group Rescue Ride for the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust (ARHT)! Sunday May 7th is the day we come together to support this awesome, lifesaving organisation.
The ride begins at ARHT Base. 440 Harvard Lane, Ardmore and ends at Cyclespot, 10 Wairau Road, Wairau Valley.
Tickets are $50 each and the first 500 to register will get an event t-shirt. Each registrant has the opportunity to win a $20,000 motorcycle package from Cyclespot. (The winner of the grand prize will need to be present to claim their prize).

Cyclespot rebuild - update
Our hardworking staff and contractors have been busy continuing to put the shop back together and rebuilding our workshop. We have been looking forward to receiving new bikes in preparation for our re-opening. This week they arrived by the truckloads!
We reckon we are almost on the home straight and can't wait to open our doors to the public again. Our aim is to re-open on Monday 27th March.
Once we open, our first priority in the workshop is to reschedule all of our customers who have been waiting patiently since their booked services had to be put on hold because of the flood. This will take time and once again we'd like to thank you for your understanding and support.

Cyclespot rebuild - update
Our staff, contractors and insurers have been working hard to repair and rebuild Cyclespot after the huge flood last month. Unfortunately, the task has proven to be an even bigger undertaking than anticipated.
At this stage we hope to open to the public late March, the date is yet to be confirmed.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding. We will be in contact again once we have more information available.
We are missing our great customers and look forward to seeing you all soon!

RESCUE RIDE Update - Postponed
Unfortunately ARHT has had to make the tough decision to postpone the Rescue Ride that was due to take place this weekend, February 19th. Although this is unfortunate, we feel it is important the resources go to where they are most needed. Unfortunately after Cyclone Gabrielle has devastated huge areas of the country.
We will update as soon as we have a new date for the ride, so watch this space.
Our hearts go out to all of those who have been impacted by this event and wish godspeed to those helping with the support and recovery of the areas affected by the cyclone.

Dear Riders
We hope you are keeping safe and well in the current State of Emergency our country is facing. Our thoughts are with all affected by these adverse weather conditions.
As an Emergency Response organisation we have a responsibility to maintain a strong level of health & safety within our fundraising events and ensure that we thoroughly manage any potential risks. It is with this in mind that we have made the decision to postpone the Cyclespot Group Rescue Ride.
With New Zealand being in a nationwide state of emergency, it is not the right time for us to be encouraging people to be riding out on the roads, many of which have had damage or are prone to slips.
With Cyclespot Wairau Road unavailable due to flooding, our plan B was to hold the Start and Finish at our Rescue Base at Ardmore Airfield. With the current state of emergency, our operational crew are busier than ever, and it is just not possible to hold an event this weekend at Ardmore Airfield.
We had also hired generators to run the food trucks and coffee carts, by postponing this event, we hope these generators can be redeployed to help with those without power due to Cyclone Gabrielle.
The date of the Cyclespot Rescue Ride will be revisited once we have a clearer time frame of when Cyclespot Motorcycle Shop will be fully operational. We will then return to our original ride route of starting at Ardmore Rescue Helicopter Base and ending at Cyclespot on the North Shore.
We are all extremely frustrated that this is the third postponement due to mother nature, and we totally understand if you would prefer a refund rather than waiting for another date to be confirmed.
We look forward to revisiting the Motorcycle Ride Event Date and will be in touch when we have a confirmed date.
