Couldn’t resist trying to join in on the fun. Here are my first 10 days so far. Not quite caught up but hey ho 🤷‍♀️I thought doing it in a series would be better for my time management. These cards celebrate one of my favourite artists the butterflies are from a craft book she released awhile ago.

We have a gorgeous new thread range - it’s an organic and naturally dyed wool thread. You can use it for all types of stitching. I’ve been using it on my embroidery (swipe to see my french knots) and it’s a dream to use. There are 60 scrumptious colours. And books and h**p and free patterns and a dinky loom. Maree finished this it’s a very useful boxy pouch with a wide opening. We funned it up with some unusual fabric and thread choices (12wt thread quilting and velveteen) and I created these zingy canvas tassels as zipper pulls. It’s a pouch so of course we used all the in my favourite rose gold. SCRUMPTIOUS 🌸💫💗🌸💫💗

I’m feeding my soul at the most inspiring workshop with this week. Here is my progress so far - I have hand dyed wool, painted linen and have a hazy plan for what I want to create. I’ve also met the most amazing group of women.

After a very long wait Ravel by E Bond is here!! These painterly designs are grungy in the most delicious way. And the colours and text fabrics make my 🩷sing. Currently composing quilts in my head 😂

Feel the Fear & Do it Anyway - so hard to do but definitely what I am working on within myself. This spread was made with art papers I had fun making with my over Easter. I have a serious crush on 💗💗💗 the flowers were made with I like the opaqueness of the pigments.

It’s very hard to gesso over your favourite art papers that you spent ages creating but it’s also a freeing part of the process. It created an ethereal sky that I 💗. Learning more with every in a course with the lovely .s.art - my daughter thought the quote was from John Lemon 😂

Sometimes the magic happens when you stop worrying how things will turn out - my art journal spread after watching aaaaalllll the fabulous content from .s.art course so freeing to just go for it!
