PSA: Quiz night!
Whether you are the competitive sort, or simply the kind to enjoy a night out, then an upcoming Quiz night may be a fun thing to do!
I am quiz mastering an evening....
Date: Friday 28th June
Time: 7pm-9pm
Where: All Saints Church Hall (cnr Church Road and Puketapu Road, Taradale)
Cost : $10pp plus loose change to "buy an answer"
Why: to support ongoing work with cyclone Gabrielle relief, to support youth initiatives, and to have some fun!

The shop will be closing for the season from this Sunday 28th April. We will reopen in November.
Tip crop raspberries now available from the shop.
Tree ripened Taylor's Gold pear special- $2.00/kg- also available.
Still a good supply of feijoas, figs, walnuts and chestnuts. π
Easter hours:
Closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Otherwise open from 8.30am-5.30pm π₯π°
While the table grape season is now over, we still have the following available from the shop:
Figs, feijoas, pears, chestnuts, walnuts and the last of the raspberries.

The first of the figs are now available - both red centred Misa and cream centered Brown Turkey.
Raspberries are still available - fresh sales and PYO.
Please note that the shop will be closed for the afternoon this Saturday, 3rd March.
As well as raspberries, blueberries and blackberries we now have
Black Boy peaches, Omega Plums, Angelino plums (yellow flesh), table grapes (black and green), and lemons & lemonades. Frozen berries, including Berry Combo, are also available.
We will attempt to keep PYO raspberries, blueberries and blackberries open into the afternoon each day, but recommend you come in the mornings.
Owing to being picked out there will be no PYO tomorrow (Monday 5th). The shop will be open from 8.00am until noon tomorrow.
We now have frozen blueberries (spray free) available.
Next PYO opportunity will be on Wednesday 7th, as we'll be closed on Waitangi Day.
PYO hours for Sunday 4th and Monday 5th - 8.00am until 12.00 noon
Shop hours - 8.00am until 4.00pm
We will be CLOSED on Waitangi Day (Tuesday 6th).
Free lemons are now available.
We hope the wet weather is behind us, so we will now be open daily from 8.00am-4.00pm for PYO and shop sales.
PYO raspberries, blueberries and blackberries have good volumes.
Stocks of frozen berries, however, are low and we suggest you secure these sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
The last of the Black Doris Plums and the last of the lemons are available at the shop.
Table grapes and Omega Plums will, hopefully, be available from this weekend π
Open each morning this week from 8am - 12:30pm for PYO and fresh sales of raspberries, blueberries and blackberries with fresh sales also of Black Doris Plums
We'll be open as a one off tomorrow morning (Saturday) with PYO blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
Then hopefully more consistent availability from early next week. Keep watching!
This first part of our harvest is now over. We will reopen with the second part of our harvest in late Jan/early Feb. We will have raspberries, blueberries and blackberries for PYO and fresh sales.
From early Feb we will also have fresh sales of table grapes, Black Doris plums and peacharines We will post updates as fruit ripens and becomes available.
Thank you for your support over the last 6 weeks of harvest. It has been wonderful to have your support following a challenging year of wet weather. We look forward to seeing you during the second part of harvest - with hopefully blue sky and sunshine π€π
Due to demand and the warm weather that has ripened more berries, we will open for tomorrow morning from 7.30am until midday for PYO raspberries only, and the purchase of frozen berries.

PYO will be open from 7.30am until 10.30am (or earlier based on demand).
The shop will close from this Saturday or Sunday, based on availability of fruit.

While PYO raspberries, boysenberries and blackberries will stay open, blueberry PYO is now closed until our late crop ripens in early February.
PYO berries opens from 7:30am-midday each day, unless picked out earlier.

If you have freezer space we suggest you purchase the Tayberries quickly as these sell out fast. These are the best berry, in our opinion, for jam.

The unfavorable weather forecast has delayed our plan to open this weekend π§οΈπ§οΈ.
As soon as the fruit is dry and the weather is clear, we will advise an opening date. π€π€
