Vanilla and honey toasted musli 🍯 I’ve never made my own musli, but I can assure you I definitely won’t be going back to the boxed stuff! I love that you have complete control of how much honey you put in, so you don’t have an overly sweet musli, as well cutting out any other unnecessary additives. Perfection!
Sticky chicken with infused rice and daikon radish - another winner from the Less Waste, More Food collection. I used carrots instead of daikon radish, but thought it came out pretty good as well! Definitely give this one a try!

More waffles! These ones are savoury cauliflower cheese waffles. I can’t remember who I saw making these last week but decided to give them a go. The recipe is from and I’m a fan! However if you have toddlers who don’t like different textures, I’d advise leaving the corn out, or possibly blitz together with all the other ingredients. My daughter was loving them until she noticed the corn 🙄

Make sure you look out for the Thermomix® stand! I’ll be there in the morning on Saturday and Sunday. Will I see you there??

Beef brisket chilli con carne 🌶
Did you know the Thermomix® can slow cook too!? As easy as it is to cook with my thermie, I always love a slow cooked meal at the end of the day that takes minimal effort to serve up. Follow the tips of Cookidoo® to thicken up to make nachos too!
Gluten Free Waffles 🧇
I love this recipe as the beaten egg whites help make nice fluffy waffles, which come out perfectly every time with my thermie.
We’re trialling gf in our house at the moment. What’s your favourite gf recipe?

It’s world cheesecake day! This was the last cheesecake I made (which I didn’t get a photo of unfortunately). It definitely is worthy of its 4.9 star rating tho! I made it for Christmas, but due to a tummy bug we didn’t make Christmas last year… but the great thing was, because this was frozen it could stay in the freezer and my husband and I got to enjoy it for dessert multiple nights afterwards.
What’s your favourite type of cheesecake?
My go to pizza base recipe is the pizza bianca recipe. Just skip the garlic and rosemary steps and you have such a versatile dough. My go to for making scrolls too. For these ones I put my cheese and spinach in the thermie and grate/chop it all together, so all I have to do is spread it on my scrolls. Yum!
Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo®: Pizza bianca https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r79767

One of my fave products from The Mix Shop is this utility paring knife. I received this as a consultant incentive a few months ago, and I have to admit I’m bit of a knife snob and didn’t think it’d compare to our good quality European knives, so I wasn’t expecting much - well it’s now my favourite knife and the first one I go to grab for most jobs. Here’s what I love about it:
🔪 it’s so versatile, big enough for cutting big vegetables but also small enough for more precision cutting.
🔪 it’s hand crafted from Japanese high carbon steel
🔪 not at all practical, but I also love the Thermomix® heat light symbol on the blade!
What’s on your wish list from The Mix Shop?
Tell me, what do you buy way too many of? I have a slight book addiction (she says as she fills up a basket on book depository at the same time). Since having my daughter, children’s books are where my addiction is at!
Please share with me what you can’t resist buying!
Let me tell you about my daughters birthday cake I made this year… we had a farm theme, and I wanted to ice the cake with green icing to look like grass… my first fail was that I went to make icing sugar in my thermie, but forgot the timing and did it for 10 seconds instead of 1 minute. When I made the icing it was really grainy, so I had a second attempt. This time I milled my sugar for 1 minute, the icing sugar was made perfectly, but I softened the butter too much so it was liquid 🤦♀️ at this point I went to the supermarket and bought some pre-made frosting and mixed my natural green food colouring in and iced the cake, yay! Well when you colour icing using natural green food colouring, not only does your icing look like grass… it also tastes like it! Luckily I have another year to try master my icing skills 😅
Tell me about your funny kitchen fails!
Who’s got an abundance of citrus right now!? Top tip, juice and zest your lemons and freeze in ice cubes for cooking and drinks when lemons aren’t around. Or peel and quarter your oranges and freeze for smoothies, sorbets, or the fav thing on the menu last night - citrus margaritas🍹
Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo®: Citrus margarita https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r71540
What’s your top kitchen hack?
Anyone else have a toddler who will pick the veggies out if they’re too chunky!? 🙋♀️ I often get asked, whether a Thermomix® can help get more veggies into meals and this is how I do it.
In the photos below, the second photo is what the guided recipe cut the veggies up for a pasta sauce, but with minimal effort (putting the lid back on and chopping for another two seconds), I can chop the veggies into smaller pieces which all cook into the sauce, adding nutrients to your meal (that don’t get spat out!).
On the flip side, if you like your veggies more chunky, chop for a shorter amount of time to suit your taste!
Let me know if you have any questions about the Thermomix® below!
Last week at our team meeting, we did an exercise where we came up with reasons we’re grateful for our Thermomix® business. For me I realised I’m so grateful for:
✅ the flexibility it gives me to spend time with my family
✅ the people I meet doing demos, as well as within the Thermomix® community
✅ the extra income that allows me to stay on extended mat leave
✅ the amazing incentives I earn (like a limited edition black Thermomix®!)
I’d love to know what are you’re grateful for today!
With this cold wet weather, I can’t be the only one dreaming of a holiday, right? Fill in the blank…
If I could go anywhere in the world I’d go to_______
