It’s harvest time and there are hazelnuts everywhere!!

With 2024 well and truly underway, so is our preparation for the next harvest. Our new weedmat is being rolled out across the orchard ready for the hazelnuts to drop. Let’s hope this saves some of the time spent mowing the grass. 🤞

We are excited to see the hazelnuts on the trees getting ready to drop. But that’s not all we are excited about. With the new year comes some new ideas and hopefully soon a new product or two 👀 This will be our second year in business and we look forward to sharing our Hazelnuts with you - roasted, raw and possibly some oil too in the coming months.

Harvest is just around the corner and we are rolling out a new trial. Let’s see if this makes any difference to our harvest this year.

It’s been a busy few weeks but we are finally ready for farmer’s markets. Come by the Cambridge Farmers market tomorrow morning and say hi. While you’re at it check out the awesome local produce available.

The sun is out and so are we. What a great day to get out and make a start setting some traps. We love our native flora and fauna so we are doing our bit to preserve them.

First batch of Hazelnuts out on the shelf, check it out Te Awamutu. Super exciting to see it all coming together!

Our organic Hazelnuts are almost ready and once the labels arrive we are good to go.

A sneak peak of what’s to come

The orchard is looking dormant at the moment but behind the scenes we are busy. Keep an eye out over the next month or so for when our hazelnuts hit the shelves!
