π The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has lowered the Official Cash Rate (OCR) to 5.25%, a move that could significantly impact the real estate market. Hereβs what this means:
-Lower Mortgage Rates: Home loans may become cheaper, making it easier for buyers to enter the market.
-Increased Demand: More buyers could drive up competition for properties.
-Price Stabilisation: Sellers might see property prices stabilise or rise with higher demand.
-Investment Opportunities: Lower financing costs could make property investments more attractive.

We are incredibly proud to have won three awards at the REINZ Awards 2024:
π Innovation of the Year Award
π Rural Rising Star of the Year - Jason Rickard
π Business Development Manager of the Year - Bridget Francis
We were also finalists in nine other categories! Watch as our Managing Director, Guy, shares his thoughts on these remarkable achievements.
Despite a quieter sales period, REINZ data shows resilience in the rural market. Grazing farms have seen a 4.5% increase in median price per hectare, reaching $14,705.
This indicates strong underlying market fundamentals, even as the overall market adapts to economic shifts. π

π On Wednesday, we celebrated our incredible Property Managers on National Property Managers Day!
It's a special day dedicated to all Property Management staff who work tirelessly to look after thousands of properties, tenants, and landlords throughout the country.
We encouraged all of our branches to make a fuss of their PM team and shout them a brekkie, lunch, or morning tea to show their appreciation for the tireless work they put in day in and day out; and boy did they deliver! Plenty of stories and photos were shared throughout the day of our awesome PMs being spoilt and thanked across the country.
Property managers are the heroes of the real estate industry, and we appreciate ours not only on this national day of celebration, but every day. π
