Reclaim CO2 hot water heat pumps are a very efficient domestic hot water system that can replace standard electric or gas hot water systems in homes and businesses. In commercial building applications, they can be installed as a modular system and are eligible for the ECCA clean tech funding and ECCA's commercial Building Grants funding up to 50% of the heat pumps and installations. We can help with both application, design and installation. Pellet Boiler Installation with the Sustainability Contestable Fund - Netherton School
Netherton Primary School's Principal says installing a pellet boiler has been the best decision they ever made. Funding for the project was granted through the Ministry of Eductions's Sustainability Contestable Fund which was established to support schools to reduce their environmental impact and improve their operational efficiency. The transition has helped the school to reach its environmental goals, making it the first to reach green gold status with the Enviroschools program. Netherton School was previously emitting around 9,810kg CO2e per year from burning coal. By removing the old coal boiler and installing the new pellet boiler, caretaker hours have been reduced and there is a 99% reduction in carbon emissions. Pellets are delivered just once a year and are blown in and used with a fully automated system, freeing the school up from the manual operation involved with old coal boiler.

Okofen boiler installation for central heating and hot water Taihape Hospital.

Get the run down here on the installation of an ÖkoFEN Pellet Boiler at Te Kura Kaupapa Motuhake o Tāwhiuau in Murupara. The installation which included the replacement of an ageing coal boiler burning non-renewable fossil fuel has created a healthier environment for the tamariki as well as the wider community. Because of the cold and damp climate in Murupara, the classrooms now have reliable high-temperature heating throughout winter. With the previous system, it was often hard to order parts for the old boiler due to the fact they were no longer manufactured and difficult to source. The new system is estimated to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 99.2% compared to the previous use of coal and the caretaker is no longer required to spend 6 - 8 hours a week during winter emptying unburnt coal slag from the boiler.
