When your Kitchen Manager/Cook has to suddenly go home sick you have to pull out the big guns!! A big thank you to these three wonderful ladies; June and Hayley (for putting on another hat for the day!!) & of course Riley! You ladies rock and I'm sure lunch will be delicious π₯°

If you are hard working, and love to cook, we want you! Experience working in a commercial kitchen is preferable.

Yesterday a group of our residents visited the local Gold Discovery Centre. They had a fabulous time and Lynette our DT is looking forward to taking another group next time. We hope you enjoy these photos βΊοΈ

Hmmmmm someone is feeling adventurous this morning! I think our wee Simba is nearly ready for freedom! We are so happy with how well he has recovered from his surgery π₯°π₯° Happy Friday everyone!
Today our residents were introduced to a 'tone steel drum' which sounds like a wind chime. Our residents quite enjoyed this new 'toy' π₯° And of course a game of Quoits is always fun on a rainy day!

Did you know yesterday was International Nurses Day as well as Mothers Day? Our wonderful residents made some beautiful art work last week to commemorate this special day! A big thank you to our RN's we really appreciate all you do for us! π₯°
Our residents had so much fun playing table soccer this morning accompanied by a sing-a-long! A great start to the week!
Our 2nd ladies lunch to the Waihi Beach RSA was successful and thoroughly enjoyed. We all look forward to the next one.

Huge shout out to Jane at Diamond Sands Pony Experiences and Pip at Beach Vets for bringing in 2 very cute furry visitors today, Cocoa & Fuzzy. We loved them and they bought us so much joy! Can't wait to see you guys again next time!
A mother or not we all mean something to someone in our lives so to honour mothers day we took the first lot of ladies out to the beach RSA for lunch. Next trip is next week π©·
