Trigger Oscilloscope and Trigger logger
Pic 1. The oscilloscope is great tool as it shows your the wave form, polarity and the little X's show where the ecu is triggering.
The hashed area shows you the arming threshold.
Pic 2. This is the same data as pic one. The logger shows the pattern in to time between trigger events. The bars are orange when not in sync and green when in sync. The red is what I have highlighted to compare between 2 teeth. This example shows the 4x compression strokes and the missing tooth which happens just after TDC
Pic 3. This is the same engine now running and in sync.
Both tools have a history bar below so you can review the data rather then having to click and hope 🤞

3,000L of fuel has been used and 1000s of hours spent in the development of this gearbox support.

How exciting is this?
8HP70 CAN control, which will be in the next MTune update (1.150), planned in march 2024.
This video is just a demonstration of different shifting scenarios.
We have tested 950hp/1050Nm, which seems to work fine with this stock BMW F11 8HP70 gearbox...
BETA version will be available next week if there are interested customers, [email protected].
Initial support for GEN1 8HP70 CAN control support, which will require a TCU reflash, the actual reflash procedure might be in MaxxECU later, but for now, a special tool must be used to convert the TCU to our "Custom Dodge".
And yes, transbrake feature will be there.
Requirements:
- Any MaxxECU.
- Our custom TCU firmware flashed (we provide tool or service).
- Our 8HP cable harness.
- Dodge/BMW M3/M4 shifter / shift emulation using buttons.
- Shifting points adjustable before TCU firmware write, later xHP (maybe) or HPtuners.
- Brake input.
- Wheel speed input.
- Paddles (needed for transbrake feature).
Full documentation will be available when released.
Edit: We have also raised the internal RPM limit to 9200rpm, BUT untested since our V8 will protest...

This time on direct ZF 8hp70 support.
This is with the Gen 1 dodge trans. (Sounds like some bmw and other trans can be reflashed to dodge firmware with a special tool)
