Morning fam!

I had some free time yesterday and decided to take some photos of the books, diaries, and calendars I got for next year. Here's a sneak peek of one of them!

I'm also getting closer to reopening my shop. I really appreciate everyone who's been patient with me. It's taken longer than I thought, but it'll be worth it!

Oh, and I heard a little rumor that crystal scoops are making a comeback - and they've been upgraded! 🫢

Wall Icing

Onto the second wall that needs fixing and painting. Luckily it's just this one hole that needs patching, then I can get started on painting.

It's been a long road so far, only because of life and my main job (ECE), but soon I'll have better, more permanent hours there, which will also mean I'll have more time to focus on my other two jobs - this and Photography!

Annnywaaayyss... new stock has arrived, lots of diaries and calendars for next year, plus a bunch of goodness for the reopening! Sadly, it's been more rainy than sunny, so I haven't had the chance to photograph it all yet 😢

On Saturday, I missioned to Palmerston North to catch up with my friend and tattoist, at Forever Ink Studio.

I am so over the moon to have a piece of my girl Bearsies with me. For those who don't know, she was my OTT affectionate familiar. She was my baby. I had her from birth right up until the day she walked off and went somewhere I've never been able to find, to pass away. She had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of stomach cancer, and passed within weeks of the diagnosis.

Pretty stoked to have not just one - but TWO Manuka trees in our garden. I'm not a lover of pink, but I can get behind this particular pink!

WELLYGEDDON 2025 BABY!

Next year is their 30th anniversary AND it falls on Easter Weekend, which means it'll be a 3 day even rather than a 2 day one.

I'm super excited to announce that I'll be partaking again, after thoroughly enjoying myself early this year!

The creating begins! This year I didn't sell much crystals, so now I need to think hard about what I'd like to have available for everyone!

My garage/office is still full of boxes. I've managed to undercoat the wall I put up, so now it's on to picking the colour scheme for the office (absolutely taking suggestions lol)

Once I've painted that I can move onto the surrounding walls, tidy them up/paint ANNNDD THHEEENNNN I can finally start to rearrange furniture to go along that wall.

That's basically step one lol. Once that's complete I'll be able to move some of these boxes around and semi set up the space. I'm dyyyyiiiinnnggg to get stock back up on the website and reopen it! So much cool stuff has arrived over the last 2 weeks with more due to arrive next week.

Pray for some sun so I can show off the new outdoor stock photography zone!

I'm super stoked I can make changes and fix things on my own, now that we own our home. The garage is my office, and it's a cool wee spot, however there is some wall spaces that haven't been boarded up.

So this past weekend, I went down to Mitre10 and grabbed some wood, had it cut to size - only to find out they didn't cut it perfectly to size lol. So a wee modification sorted that out and I was able to finish what I started!

Now all that's left is to undercoat it, and get stuck into the rest of the garage wall, I'm preparation for painting them all!

My Mum and one of my sisters are very much into plants.. me? Not soooo much.. I mean there are some plants I can get behind 😉🍃 but yesterday while awaiting my lunch, I spied a wee plant shop and went in for a nosey.

They had these cute wee houseplants for $8 so I grabbed one annnnnd I got this cute pot to keep it in lol.

Today was the last day we were tenants in our old home. The keys have been handed back and the final inspection has been done.

Look at my handsome wee man in his new vest I got for him today. Yay Kmart lol.

Tomorrow starts the gruelling task of unpacking the new house, more so - the garage. The office if you will.

The entire garage is full of boxes 😅 it's gonna take me some time to find where everything is and put them in their final resting places.

It'll be like a mega Christmas 🤣🤣🤣
