Today we said goodbye to a very special person and one of the Kandiland DJs 😭 James Plunket aka Strike sadly passed away last week and has left a huge hole in everyone's hearts. Well respected in the dance music scene, and loved for his witty banter and huge smile, James will be missed by all.
Massive aroha to all his friends and whanau - we are thinking of you during this difficult time.
Go well James, and keep those tunes pumping in the sky

Without all of you, KandiLand wouldn't have been half as special as it was, so we thank you all from the bottom of our candy hearts! 💜

After 6 days on site, we are finally packed up and have returned to the real world. We'd like to extend a massive THANK YOU to all who attended our inaugural event - we were overwhelmed with the great vibes, the colourful costumes, and the support of all you fabulous folk who braved the cold until the early hours with us.

You all ROCK! Thank you all for making this event so special!

What is KandiLand?
Apart from being a fun and colourful name, KandiLand is what we choose as a representation of our community.
We have a diverse background in the electronic music scene... some have been involved for decades, some have been away and have returned and others are fairly new to the scene, but we are all united by the philosophy of PLUR.
We want to share with you our love of electronic music, the scene and community.
