🏡 A wonderful box of quality newborn baby clothing off to a good new home this week. It can be hard to know where to take baby clothing once your little ones have outgrown them. A first option is to pass them on to any friends or family having children, but this is not always possible.

After many months of working together, my client finally found the courage to face a challenge that had been weighing on her—her "bag of bags." As we have been making our way through her home, we have been slowly collating all of the bags into one pile so she can see them all in one go and choose her favourites to keep.
It might seem small to some, but for her, decluttering these bags was a significant step in letting go of items she felt she "might need someday."

With determination and support, she was able to part with these bags, and the result less clutter. It wasn't easy, but we finally got there together!

🔌✨ Garage Declutter Success! ✨🔌

This is a "during" photo of a garage sort and declutter. I tackled my client's garage and turned a tangled mess of electrical cords and random boards into organised bliss! 🎉 No more hunting for the right cord or tripping over stray boards. Everything is now neatly sorted and easily accessible, and a couple of commonly used items moved inside. 🛠️

Prepping for a new arrival is a journey of love, excitement, and... a LOT of clothes for pēpi! 👶✨ This week's mission was transforming a soon-to-be baby's room into an organised haven for my lovely client. She felt overwhelmed and needed an extra pair of hands to help with the "heavy lifting" before she was too far along in her pregnancy.

🧸 Sorted through adorable outfits (because who can resist baby clothes?!) and created piles to share the love with friends and family. We've all been there—holding onto too many clothes only to realise the next baby won't wear half of them! 😂

👕 Arranged clothing into sizes and styles for easy access once the baby is here, making those midnight outfit changes a breeze! 🌙✨

📦 Vacuum-packed and stored older sizes for future use, ensuring that everything is neat, tidy, and ready for the little one's big debut. 🚼✨

Each week I have been spending 2 hours with my client tidying and decluttering little areas in her home. This time we focused on tidying the games cupboard so she had a space to store games for her mokopuna. We knew after measuring atleast 10 times (eek!) that the baskets would be JUST right. And they were!
I also love how the labels turned out!

Ever wonder how many pens you have that actually work? I recently tackled a client's stationery cupboard and discovered quite a few imposters! 🚫🖊️ We also discovered her partner had "relocated" many pens from work, to home, and so we gathered a very large bag for him to return to the office.

🏡 🐱 🐱 Happy international ngeru (cat) day! I get to meet so many beautiful and "helpful" cats like this giant fluffy boy. More often than not I have to lure them out of an empty box or my car so I don't accidentally cat-nap anyone!

🏡 🚗 TBT To when I helped a wonderful family organise their shed space. They lived in an amazing townhouse of 65m2 so a space to store bikes and tools was essential. A shelving unit would not have fitted very well with the bikes, they opted to build in a high shelf along one side instead.

Just ventured back into a client's roofspace to store outdoor gear and Christmas decorations I sorted a few weeks ago. 🎄🎅🏼

p.s. these pull down ladders are fantastic.. but the resident cat enjoyed climbing up them a bit too much!

Here's a snap from last year when I was on my way to help a lovely client declutter their home. 🚗✨ My pēpi was just 6 months old, and I had to pull over for a quick breastpump session. Now that my little one is older, I no longer need to pump during the day, but I still laugh about those moments – hoping the pump batteries wouldn’t die, I wouldn’t spill any milk, and crossing my fingers that no one would pull up next to me! 🤞😂

Balancing motherhood and running a business isn't always easy, but moments like these remind me why I love what I do. Helping clients create clutter-free, stress-free spaces is rewarding, and getting out of the house for some "me" time made it all the better.

🏡👗 Today I had a fun day helping sort clothing for a family who have been undergoing renovations and slowly getting things back to "normal." We managed to declutter 7 boxes of clothing. I dropped a bunch off to the Free For All shop, and a box of adorable prem baby clothing will be passed on to the Nest Collective.

Being the school holidays, I was asked a few thought-provoking pātai from the young tamaiti tāne, including:
❓ "Would you rather have 8 legs or 8 arms?" and
❓ "Would you rather have a big head and a small body, or a small head and a big body?"
