So you purchase a hot water cylinder from a supposedly reputable compay which starts leaking 4 years down the track through corrosion in the stainless steel.
You then purchase a new cylinder expecting it to be under warranty (as in you eyes stainless should not corrode) and purchasing a new one is the way their warranty system is operated.
So long story short knowing I’d be over a barrel if I didn’t sight problem myself I installed the new one , stripped top of old and pressure tested.

Returned it to supplier who sent to manufacturer.
I then get a email telling me corrosion was from the outside in not inside to out. So no warranty.
Stand by your product and don’t buy inferior materials.
I’ve already fixed multiple element seals because your outfit wanted to make a few more dollars by buying cheaper ones.
The other thing is plumbers supply your product thinking you’ll stand by it.
Look after them as without them your company is worth nothing.

Just purchased new tool for removing old crimped copper rings off dux,K1 and similar fittings its called D-BANDIT tool. Awesome for reusing all those fittings that you have laying around that would normally be wasted. Recommend that every plumber should have one.
