Sorry for the delayed update! Due to our crazy shaky grounds, your favourite little shoeshop will be closed till the middle of next week. Contractors are doing some maintanance and repairs to the flooring.

So to fill the gap, here's some random, yet interesting facts that could help educate oneself about how our bodies or to be specific how our feet actually change as we grow.

Did you know, shoe sizes were first established in the year 1324 in England by King Edward II. He declared that the diameter of one barley corn (1/3 of an inch) would represent one full shoe size.This standard of measure is still used today.
Most people don't realise that feet can increase 1 1/2 sizes or more throughout the adult life. As you age, your feet are likely to flatten out causing an increase in length and/or width. Other factors such as changes in weight or surgery can also impact your foot size.
The average women walk more than 6km more per day than the average male. ( Yeah..I knew I was lazy haha )
Now, compared to fingernails, toenails grow much more slowly. They grow about 1mm a month, where fingernails can grow an average of 0.1mm a day! So this would mean that it can possibly take 5-6 months to grow an entirely new toenail?!
