Well, the dust has settled, the floors have been swept, and the tables wiped and put away. Many many thanks to all of you who came and supported us, and some of you kept coming!
It was a very successful initial event for our Epicurean Events at Inverlochy Art School, and there will be more, so keep your eyes peeled. We couldn't have done it without you.
We raised awareness of our wonderful art school, the venue, and a small amount of money to go towards art equipment for the school.

We love this picture of Bravo Ensemble at Inverlochy Art School last night.

Just watched two hours of the most amazing music; Bravo Ensemble played to a to small audience here at Inverlochy. But the crowd were mesmerized as they were led through a wonderful set of classic tango pieces (as well as some others) played by musicians who clearly loved playing them. The incredible musicianship drew the audience in with humour and warmth. I was reminded of what live music is all about. Incredible music, virtuoso musicianship and a night to remember. We want them back!

Inverlochy's Second Winter Soiree kicks off tomorrow! Friday August 19th we welcome Wellington rockers Rose Road to share their original and covered tunes.

Come on down and treat yourself to a night out at Wellington's much-loved landmark.

"Three piece girl group The Martini Club were sensational. Too sensational to put into words... but I can describe the crowds and my own response. It has been a while since I have seen an audience taking the joyous journey with the music and the musicians with so much passion and fervor. Everything that was bangable was banged. Floor, walls, tables and some random percussive and persuasive instruments thrown to the "shouting at the top of our lungs" crowd. What fun I am having, mostly by accident not design."

Here we have Inverlochy House way back in the 1880s, looking as beautiful as ever. Come and see her in all her glory on August 12th at our first ever Winter Soiree: see our 'Events' tab for details.

Are you a poor soul struggling through the housing crisis? Is your dream villa currently out of reach? Or are you just a nosy bu**er?

Whatever your answer, visit Wellington's very own grand design at Inverlochy Art School's Epicurean Winter Soirees, beginning August 12th.

Okay guys. You've had the sweeteners. Now its time to party! Bring along your friends and be prepared to have a good time.

Starting Friday 12th August, we are hosting a series of 4 bands over 4 Fridays (7-9 pm) to help you party through the winter, and help fundraise for our own wonderful local community art school: Inverlochy!

So who have we got in store for you all?

August 12th
First off we have The Martini Club - our very own jazzy band to sip your cocktails to. Ooh la la!

August 19th
Secondly we welcome Wellington's own indie band Rose Road, sharing some original material as well as some cruisy covers to cruise your way through the night...

August 26th
Put on your tango shoes and salsa frocks, because we have The Bravo Ensemble dishing out some Latino vibes.

September 2nd
Always wanted to bring out your inner gypsy? Well, with the high energy gypsy jazz band Phantasticus you'll get your chance!

And note: There will be some door prizes and other treats, so make sure to put these dates into your diaries and come help support your local art school!
