Karori Toy Library is open tonight!!
🏰🚂🛴 + 🍷🍪
We are open for a special session from 7:30 to 9pm tonight. Free drinks and nibbles! Drop in and say hi.
This is a chance for you to hang out and get to know each other, and the Toy Library committee. You can let us know what toys you'd like to see more and less of.
We know you are often wrangling children when you come into the Toy Library so you don't get a chance to interact and connect in a relaxed environment. Building community is important to us, so we are putting on this session to hopefully do just that. You can also borrow toys without having to negotiate with your little people!
This event is free of charge for all members of the Karori Community Toy Library.
A wee reminder we are closed on Saturday due to the Easter holiday. Have a lovely weekend and we'll see you on Tuesday the 2nd of April :)

We would like to thank our long-term funders, supporters and neighbours at the St. John's Trust Op Shop.
Their generous funding over the years has allowed us to keep our toy collection current, with recent donations paying for a Kinderfeets balance bike and trike, a kinderboard, a Pikler triangle and ramp, several Te Reo games and puzzles, a new commercial grade bubble machine for our party pack, and several other new toys!
This year they have granted funding to put bike and scooter racks into the toy library, send our librarians on a first aid course, and add some more popular toys to the collection.
Thank you so much St. John's Trust Op Shop!
Only one week till our birthday party! We'd love to see you all there for this free event, featuring birthday cake, soft play and face painting 🎂 🛝🎨
You don't need to be a member of the Toy Library to attend our birthday party so please invite any friends with kids as well. We'd love to see everyone there to celebrate with us!

We would like to thank the New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT), and our local NZCT partner in Karori - The Pickle Jar.
This year NZCT kindly donated funding towards the annual wage costs of the Karori Toy Library. We employ part-time librarians to reduce the volunteering burden on families and make sure our Toy Library runs smoothly.
Grant funding allows us to keep memberships affordable and make sure the Toy Library has a good variety of open times to suit busy families. So a huge thanks to NZCT, via the Pickle Jar - check out their amazing pizzas and fab kids menu 🍕🍔🍗
