CAPITAL PUNISHMENT 69

What at epic day – so much skill on display with the crowd loud as the fights were frantic combat sports are best experienced live as the feeling of being in the arena cant be beaten. A massive thanks to all the fighters, trainers, gyms and the crowd and all our sponsors.

With 13 fights including 7 Full Thai Rules Fights this was our best show yet and the talent and skill on display continues to grow and improve

The show went 100 miles an hour from from the start with non stop action on all 13 fights.

THE MAIN EVENTS
CJ VS STANLEY FTR
This fight was all that was expected and more – CJs rampant Southpaw bombing rampaging punches vs Stanleys silky smooth style. Stanley won in one of the best displays of skill vs ferocity we have seen.

JOSH WHITEHEAD VS DIMA GLADKIH
What a battle Dima was a wrecking machine with fantastic dumps and Josh landed some sharp strikes to take home the win in a war.

ZION PERRY VS SMOOTH MARKUS BALDWIN
Zion won with a perfectly timed liver knee in the second round after Markus had a great first round.

Andrew Fraenkel vs Cullen Taylor won the Life Direct Fight of the night cheques and Fergus Knowles won the $500 Sinatra Spartan Warrior trophy and Tattoo voucher.

Big thanks to Jordan Reynolds for taking a fight on 5 hours notice and Carnell for deciding a hard fight is better than no fight and taking the hard road.

CAPITAL PUNISHMENT 68 AND DEADLY DEBUT 21
What at epic day – two massive shows back to back.The crowds were loud as the fights were frantic combat sports are best experienced live as the feeling of being at the arena can not be beaten.

With 26 fights all up it was a non stop full on fistic feast – the main events were all huge.

DEADLY DEBUT 21 – showed that the future of the sport shines massive and brightly.

The Main Event with Jacob Navman and Cody Rohipa was a Full Thai Rules war between two power house hitters. Jacob won in the third round but the Hydras hardman landed some stunners in what was Fight of the Show.

CAPITAL PUNISHMENT 68
The show started off hot with one of the contenders for the night – Fergus Vs Jackson where the blood flew over and outside the ring and leather landed hard.

Aidan LM vs Tama was a Full Thai Rules battle where the elbows landed hard and was the Lifedirect Fight of The Night Award and the cash that went with it.

Angus Vs Liam was another great technical battle – Liam has been on the warpath recently and Angus has comeback after a long time off. This was our pick for Technical Fight of the Night.

THE MAIN EVENT
IGGY VS HAAMI FTR
This fight brought the crazy! From the Walk in the Crowd screamed the house down. And the fight didn’t disappoint. Haami won the first round and shut down Iggys insanity with a powerful and smothering clinch game. The second round was a cat and mouse game between the forwards pressure of Haami and the deceptive movement and counters of Iggy. In the third Iggy opened up with more spinning moves than we have ever seen in a ring winning a split decision and the crowd erupted.

What a fight.

Massive Monthly Mega sparring yesterday.

Masterton Mayhem what a great show - man the talent on display was impressive. NZ Combat Sports Stand UP. Thanks to Emilio and the UMMA Crew for the opportunity and hospitality.

Aidan LM Conradie won on points in an epic war this man is entertaining as.

Feargus GBH Gordon won in the second round via RNC against the tough Chris Peachy who took the fight late notice.

Both will be back in the gym on Monday as the team strives for greatness and prepares for Capital Punishment 68 and Deadly Debut 21 the homecoming shows on May 25

Was great to have Tricky Tom Sheppard back in the gym to pass on his knowledge to the next generation.

The team had a great fight trip to Sydney recently we caught up with Jordan and got to train at his gym before both Mel ad Markus fought.

Both had good hard fights.

Markus won against a veteran in Round 1 and Mel true to form fought a hard fight losing on points to a slick fighter.

What a life - proud of the team and the gains.
