2022… in a nutshell, is a year of growth. This year, Fox&Co, celebrated our 7th birthday 🦊👏 Turning 7 is significant in finding independence, and this year was nothing short of exploring the unknown, experimenting with new technology, and looking ahead at what the next phase of the business could look like 🤔 Some of our highlights: ✅ Participated in a short film challenge with @nzfilm, @epicgames and @unrealengine ✅ Opened the Fox&Co Australia office with our team @ezzieauperle and @ariboyland in Sydney ✅ Went into production on two animated children’s films for an international client ✅ Launched @motionformobile with @ohheysamson The team finished the year with a bang at @boomrocklodge with Clay Bird Shooting, Archery, and Axe throwing, along with an incredible kai shared by the team. We were also lucky to have our Fox&Co Australia Executive Producer, @ezzieauperle, spend the afternoon celebrating with us! 🤩 Here’s to 2023… watch this space! Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the passing of Stanley Kubrik, one of the greatest film-making pioneers in the 21st Century. His legacy lives on through the eyes of the creators who draw inspiration from him, even today. One of these creators is our very own Creative Director, Nico Speziali. ⁠ In this memoriam piece, he explored the lighting of a 3D scene that quickly took him down an unintentional Kubrickesque path in what would ultimately end up being a combination of Barry Lyndon, Eyes Wide Shut, Paths of Glory, and The Shining. ⁠ ⁠ We chat to him about his fascination with Kubrick.
