It was a honour and a privilege to Judge the KBDi Australian Kitchen and Bathroom Design Awards for 2024.

It was truly inspiring to witness all of the exceptional entries and to witness their extraordinary accomplishments and unwavering commitment to their craft.

Being a judge has been a profoundly enriching and humbling experience allowing me the chance to assess and celebrate the outstanding work of companies and individuals from around Australia

Judging is a role that I genuinely love and feel very passionate about and requires a significant amount of time and a lot of consideration to make sure every entrant is handled with fairness and integrity

There was a very high calibre of work this year with some displaying exceptional attention to detail and exquisite plans and drawings which made the task much harder. I would like to congratulate all the finalists and especially the winners and look forward to seeing their future work.

Excited to announce that I have been selected to Judge the 2025 Gaggenau Kitchen of the Year Design Contest open to all professional kitchen designers, architects, interior designers, builders, and developers from Australia or New Zealand

The Design Team visited Moment Factory’s Light Cycles as part of the Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts at the Wellington Botanic Gardens. The immersive experience allows you to navigate the dazzling light installations, soundscapes and digital art. Truly stunning experience 🙌🏼

Recently finished kitchen in Wanaka for some fabulous Auckland clients. Hand picked Emerald Green Quartzite Island with Hafele Blanco Silgranit Sink, Laminex Metallic Coal Cabinetry and Archant Edge Straight Handles and finished off with Fisher & Paykel appliances.

Getting our work photographed is a very important part of our job and allows us to express our work outside of our clients homes. Together with our very talented professional photographers we hope our work is an inspiration to our new clients and the design community.

Capping off an incredible two weeks in Europe visiting some of Europe’s finest suppliers of bespoke product and the Salone de Mobile Fair in Milan incorporating Eurocucina we decided to finish on a high. What better way to end a design tour than a visit to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, Italy 🇮🇹 So inspiring to see how design and technology has changed the Ferrari but while still remaining true to their core values of producing beautiful cars 🙌🏼🏎️❤️

Amazing showroom and factory tour of the incredible Florim Benchtop and tile supplier in Maranello in Italy. Beautiful material and innovations and such a sustainable and forward thinking company. In such an uncertain and unpredictable time Florim stands out as a product of choice 🙌🏼

Gravity of Light, Poggenpohl presents objects where light, in combination with the static structure, appears to defy gravity and showcasing the kitchen as an independent sculpture that enriches the atmosphere of the room 🙌🏼 The new +Modo from Poggenpohl designed by Jorge Pensi. It was so great to see, catch up with old friends and meet the man himself 😎 #+modo

Day two at Salone del Mobile and covered so much ground and found all the cool things 🙌🏼 Smeg raised Induction, Miele Matt Glass downdraft ventilation, solid timber table cut from a singular trunk, aluminum framed glass doors, extractors that are recessed in the ceiling, wall mounted and integrated into a frame, stunning outdoor kitchen and Prosecco 🍾 and Parma Ham 😎

First day at Salone del Mobile and visited Eggersmann at Eurocucina. As always the design and quality was second to none and all of their innovations were so inspirational.

Amazing Gaggenau VIP launch party at Villa Necchi in Milan with the new essential induction and carbon black cooling. Chuck in a pool party and a DJ and what more can you ask for 🙌🏼
