Located on Oriental Parade, The Wellington Ocean Sports Centre offers a variety of courses and options to get you out on the water. Providing a view of Wellington that many miss out on, Wellington Ocean Sports ideal for locals, visitors, young and old alike.

We have a Cruising Course, involving a sail at night, starting 30 July.
If you missed out we have Learn to Sail courses scheduled over the next 3 months.
There is a VHF course over 2 evenings starting 9 August.
We have a Boatmaster course starting 15 August on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

The days just got longer! We've added an evenings Learn to Sail keelboat course starting Tuesday 4th October, still 2 spots left. Course runs Tuesday and Thursday nights for 9 sessions.
Learn to sail The Learn to Sail Keelboats is a hands on course that introduces people to sailing on keelboats. No experience is necessary. We will teach you all of the principles needed for your journey to become a great sailor. You just need to be over 16 years old!
