Love Tennis is Tennis NZ's annual event that sees tennis clubs around the country open their doors and courts to their community. Everyone is welcome to come along and give tennis a go...for FREE!!

Churton Park Tennis Club - Quiz Night 2024 | August 11, 2024 Join us on August 11

We were truly blessed with great weather this weekend allowing all matches and finals to be completed at our club Champs. Well done to all participants and finalists. Mens Singles played on Saturday, runners up Harry Riley -Smith, and Conrad Wong both suffered cramping during there mammoth match going the distance of three sets and Conrad winning the match.
Women's singles finals played between Isobel Thurston vs Sarah Chautilal a closely fought match and taking the match out was Sarah.
Mens Doubles finalists, Michael and His Son Andrew Thurston vs Conrad and Harry who won the match.
Women's Doubles - Christy Robinson and Corinna Joe(winners) vs Joe Trendle and Jennifer Cunliffe.
Mixed Doubles was a great final, a close match between Michael and his daughter Isobel (Winners) vs Christy and Ray a closely fought match and great tennis to complete our Club Champs. Congratulations to all our Champs.
Thanks to Andy Gillespie our tournament master for once again running our club champs. Thanks to everyone who brought food and special thanks to Leighton for doing the bbq and helping out. A successful weekend of club Tennis.

Junior Group Coaching 3:30pm today 4th March cancelled due to rain. We will run an extra class at the end of term to make up this class. Please keep checking here for updates about the 4:20pm and 5:10pm classes.

Thanks to this awful weather we are going to have to cancel all junior group coaching for today 26 October. We will make this lesson up at the end of term.

Hi everyone it's the first weekend and round for inter-club tennis for our seniors and junior teams, unfortunately it is not looking promising for good weather. But if by any chance your team gets to play then all the best and good luck to every team and player. Please wear your club shirts and represent with pride 🎾

It was a great Love Tennis 🎾 Open day today thanks to all who came along today it was a fantastic day, we had a great number turn out and some new memberships and lots of juniors sign up for term 4 coaching and some signed up for adult beginners classes, thanks to all who helped out and make it a successful day. Well done to Those of you who won one of the three gift of pack prizes. Thanks to everyone who donated items towards the gift packs we raised $185 , thanks to Aaron and Kelly our New World Churton Park owners sponsorship, we literary cooked around 160 + BBQ sausages , Thanks to Jason from French Barbers in Lambton Quay who sponsored two $100 vouchers won by Chatu Lokage and Colin Ng winners in the jumbo tennis competitions.
Face painting was ever so popular again thanks to Karen King our Face painting expert, and the bouncy castle again popular.

Good luck to all who attended and went into the QR scan draw to win all expenses trip to the Aussie Open.
