Unfortunately for us we bid a fond farewell to Sandra... she is off on a well-deserved holiday to take time out for herself which is both exciting & well earned! We cannot thank Sandra enough for everything she has done for Netball in the Wellington Region and Centre. She has selflessly given many years of service that's positively influenced many a player &/or coach across our region and beyond. Her efforts have been hugely appreciated. Sandra will certainly leave a hole in the office and all things netball that will be hard to fill. We wish Sandra & Rodger all the best for their travels and look forward to hearing all about them upon their return. Hopefully she may wish to rejoin us as a volunteer for some of our future programmes - we'd gladly welcome her with open arms 💛🖤
We are so proud of the Central Pulse team. You gave us an epic final last night. You are an inspiration to all our young netties who are aspiring to be just like you. Thank you for treating us to an amazing season. 👏

This morning we had our first U14 Player Development session up at our Hataitai courts. It was very cold at the start but then the sun snuck through warming us up nicely.
Defence was the theme for today. The players did so well practicing each skill set and then putting it all into practice with some game time.
Massive thanks to our coaches Karen, Te Rae, Michelle and Mike.
We look forward to seeing you all again next week.

Good Sports® is about creating positive sporting experiences for tamariki and rangatahi. Good Sports does this by supporting and educating parents, caregivers, coaches, teachers, and sports leaders.
Both practitioners and researchers supporting Good Sports agree that many issues in youth sports can stem from adult involvement. These issues include poor side-line behaviour, overuse injury, burnout, and disaffection with sport which can hinder success on and off the field.
To address these issues and give children and young people the best chance of developing a lifelong love of sport, Good Sports focuses on raising adults’ awareness about their behaviours in youth sports and, if necessary, promoting a positive shift in that behaviour.
If the picture below hits a sore point for you - please change your behaviour and think about the harm you are doing without possibly realising it.
