Our own Gecko girl Milla was asked on very short notice to play for Hawke's Bay in the National Indoor Championship in Levin. She played alongside three indoor Black Sticks. The team played the final against the unbeaten North Harbour team.
With a great performance Hawke's Bay won 3:1 and claimed the National Indoor title.
The Petone W2 hockey team is trying to get to the 2024 Calcup, the largest and oldest hockey tournament in California in May. Many of our former Gecko girls play in this team (including our Gecko coaches Milla and Willow) in this team, which is also coached by supercoach Hieran. They came second in the P3 Open Womens grade in Wellington this year, and we think they have a good shot at this epic tournament, but we need to raise some money! Please support our awesome old Gecko Girls!
In time for Xmas the girls are selling the awesome CaliWoods products - good quality, sustainable home goods that are great to use and give as gifts. The prices are the same as in a retail store, we just get a % of every sale.
Orders close on 27 November and you'll get your products a fortnight before Xmas. Here is your the order form please DOWNLOAD (don't fill in your order online), pick your items and email it to [email protected] or to Jessica (email is in the form)
