A handful of Easter cuteness - bunny ittyFriends are a lovely keepsake to play with after all the chocolate has been eaten.

How do you celebrate? We are big on Easter egg hunts in this house and as the children get older, they're getting more and more elaborate 😅 We love chocolate like the best of them but like to sprinkle in some non-food treats too!

I had every intention of being consistent on social media for the last several weeks but life in all it's dramatic glory has got in the way. It has been a tough gig getting our little family through the last few weeks 🥴 Suddenly the NZPOST cut off date for guaranteed shipping is on Monday and I've belly flopped on the marketing side of life 😬

So to compensate for my failings to get ittykins out there and seen on socials, I thought I'd offer my second ever sale in the hopes that more of my work is in the hands of little ones rather than on a shelf this Christmas. (Also a comment, save, like or share would go a long way in helping get these out to kiddos too!)

SUMMER10 will give you 10% off all orders over $40 this weekend and Christmas items are marked down too. All orders over the weekend will be sent out on Monday in time for the NZPOST final cut off date and to be under trees for the big day 🥰

I had such a fab time at the on Saturday - the first time I've been brave enough to do a market in our new home town 😅 It's always a pleasure hanging with other makers too - I'm looking at you The Little Shop 🥰

Next weekend I'm going to be doing another Whanganui market - the River City Christmas Market - and it's outdoors so fingers crossed the weather is kind 🤞🏻

Is this the end?

I have finished listing the last ittyCases I have. There are no more empty suitcases waiting to be filled, and I'm not sure if I'll be getting more or not. I'm not going to lie, I shed a tear lining the last case wondering if I'll ever do it again.

It's no secret that this year has been incredibly difficult for our family with some big health challenges for one of our children amongst other tough things. We don't know what 2024 will look like for ittykins while we focus on our family's wellbeing above all else. It will unfold as we go.

Tomorrow is the last day that NZPost guarantee packages will reach Australia before Christmas using economy shipping. I'll add an additional shipping option for Australian orders with the International Courier prices for Christmas delivery but unfortunately it is significantly more expensive 😬

Camping is so iconic that it seemed about time to make a wee camping ittyCase. How blinkin' cute!!

It's been a busy time in this little family workshop , furiously making as much as possible for Christmas. Lucky I'm pretty determined when I set my mind to something and amidst birthdays, cake making, medical appointments and general chaos it's getting done 😅

Buuuut, in all the making I have been neglecting actually listing things to sell so I've decided to put everything new up on the website at 8pm, Sunday 12th November. Plenty of time for parcels to make it across the ditch and under Christmas trees. There will be these little ittyCases, fairy ittyCases and three BRAND NEW things as well as everything I can make between now and then 😁

I didn't think I was doing any markets this Christmas season but a space opened up at at this event and I couldn't resist 😁 Soooo excited!

ittykins is THREE YEARS OLD!! What a journey it's been through all these covid years, all the ups and down of lockdowns, a huge move down country, a recession and a whole heap of health challenges in our little family. But we're still here and we're prepping hard for this Christmas season 🎄

And how cute is this ittyCase? Custom made to match these wee mice for a very special little girl. It was the perfect excuse to experiment on things like the bunting and to knit some teeny tiny clothes. Gaaah, this work has to be the most fun work on the planet!

It's been an age! ittykins has slowed right down while we focus on some big challenges happening in our wee family. BUT I'm still never not knitting so here's what I've been working on - dinosaur ittyFriends 🦖🦕 I think they're my favourite (but I've thought that about the bears then the bunnies then the pandas so... cute things get me every time!)

There are five bold colours of dino and BRIGHT hand-knitted blankets, tucked into a little mattress inside a cactus themed tin. Or if you'd like a different combo, just let me know and I'll put it together just right for the dino lover in your life.

Thinking back on the days of making entire dollhouses - I hope I can fill my days with making these again one day 🤍

**N E W I T T Y C A S E S**

The time has finally come to list the latest batch of ittyCases on the website 🎉🎉 There's bright rainbow cases, dinosaur cases and a whole bunch of the $99 range of cases too!

It's been a long time since the last drop and unfortunately it's probably going to be even longer before the next one. I'm hoping to have more product ready before Christmas this year but it's all a bit unknown at this stage. If you have a birthday in the next few months, now is the chance!

2023 has continued to be a year of challenges for our wee family which has meant that ittykins has been much quieter than normal. I've been focusing on our family and our health which doesn't leave a lot of time for labour intensive work. (Though I never stop knitting 😜🧶)

While we are finding our new normal, I'll be making what I can when I can. We handcraft nearly every component inside our ittyCases so each case represents hours of work! I've built up a few ittyCases for some winter markets, once they're all done I'll be listing the remainders on the website. This may well be the last fresh drop of ittyCases before the slide into Christmas so if you have a winter birthday, this is the time!

HAPPY EASTER ITTYKINS FRIENDS!

I hope there are a whole lot of children feeling a tiny bit of extra joy from ittykins this Easter - I adore seeing the pics and videos coming through of Easter goodies being enjoyed 🥰🥰

It's been a whirlwind few weeks here including a family crisis that needed me away from home/studio for the week before Easter so I'm sorry I had to close Easter goodies earlier than expected 🤍

It's nearly 3 weeks of school holidays for us now so ittykins creations are taking some time off (still some pieces on the website that will be processed if ordered but my hands will be too full making snacks for little people to create anything new 😅.) When I'm back on deck there are a bunch of new ittyCases to photograph and list on the website but that date is TBC 🤹🏻‍♀️🤹🏻‍♀️

The last little bunnies of the year are here! New bright rainbow bunnies have joined the pastel rainbow bunnies aaaaaand I couldn't resist adding a couple of multis in there too - every kind of rainbow is my kind of rainbow 🌈

There's lots of stock there so hopefully it lasts longer than two hours this time 🤞 Unfortunately time-frames are tight for my Aussie peeps so no gauranteed shipping for Easter at this stage 😔
