OMG, finally have an appropriate label for 'that' side of me.

Don't know bout you, but I've often been labelled as defensive, sometimes aggressive 🖕, too sensitive and "over the top" when attempting to share my experiences on issues to do with our oppression. When I was younger, I would second guess myself and sometimes think my feelings were wrong. Wisdom has taught me that my feelings are as valid af! My puku rumbles at the sight of injustice, my blood boils and my heart breaks and so it should! We have every right to be angry about what has happened and what continues to happen to us - yes - lets direct that anger into empowering movements but never ever let anyone make you feel like your anger is wrong or misplaced ✊🏽
