Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of the legendary B.B. King, born on this day in 1925. His soulful voice and the unmistakable sound of his guitar, Lucille, transformed the world of music and touched millions of hearts around the globe.

From "The Thrill Is Gone" to "Every Day I Have the Blues," his music carried the spirit of the blues, filled with emotion, resilience, and timeless beauty.

Hi to everyone out there in Lone Star land.

Today is our 36th birthday. How cool is that. So we’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to you, our fans, for making this momentous day possible.

With your tremendous support we have been able to grow into an iconic love brand over the New Zealand hospitality landscape!

Just by having too much fun together.

So again thank you to everyone of you out there for staying Lone Star loyal over these 36 wonderful years.

We simply couldn’t have done any of it it without you all.

It seems like a long time ago that we first opened our doors at 26 Manchester St in Christchurch, because it was. Haha! And we’d do it all again.

So many memories, so much fun, so much love. It truly has been a privilege to have played a special part in so many of your lives all around New Zealand.

And hopefully with your loyal support, Lone Star will be around for at least another three dozen years to brighten up the lives of a whole new generation of Lone Star fans.

So again, Thanks to you all for everything, we really know how lucky we are to have such wonderful fans!
