Quarry Arts Centre Cafe

The Quarry Arts Centre Cafe has reopened as Amber's Kitchen, with chef Amber Wallace serving delicious food and coffee on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday - 10am-2pm.

It is the end of an era for the Quarry Café, run by studio artist, Dell Pryor, since 2013. The final day of business for the café was Tuesday, 19 July. The tiny clay café building is receiving a little TLC while its future purpose is considered. Dell will continue at the Quarry as a studio artist, as a private sculpture tutor, as well as making humorous and risqué cakes as a source of income.

Thank you Dell! We will miss your strong coffee, toasties, croissants and cakes.

Lois Going Art Exhibition - a collection of abstract and surreal paintings by local Tutukaka artist Lois Going. A long time contributor to the Whangarei arts scene, this is a solo show full of colour and passion.
Opens 5pm tonight, on show for 4 weeks - Yvonne Rust Gallery.
