Congratulations to Malaysian osteopath & physiotherapist, Dr. Terrence Chee, DO, a 2016 DO graduate of National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) who has been officially recorded & awarded for being the first osteopath to offer osteopathic care at the highest elevation point (4700 meters above sea level). This is the first ever recorded osteopathic treatment in history at this height. It has never been done before.

Pourgol Osteopathy Chronic Pain Hospital in Panama City (Panama) is offering a 5 days continuing education program on Osteoarticular and Muscle Energy Techniques & clinical skills to 4 people. The program is 8 hours per day from Monday June 05 to Friday June 09, 2023. The CE program is open to students and practitioners.

The cost of the trip to Panama and the cost of the program are tax deductible in Canada, USA, and most other countries in Europe and elsewhere.

This continuing education program is accepted by National Academy of Osteopathy (Canada) and National University of Medical Sciences (USA & Spain) bridge and clinical internship programs.

The certificate of attendance issued by Pourgol Osteopathy Chronic Pain Hospital awards 40 CEU which can be used to fulfil continuing education requirements of many associations such as the College of Registered Manual Osteopaths (Canada) and the American Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners.

The program is available only to 4 people on first come first registered basis. Those who register first get accepted first. The tuition is US$1170 for the full program. There is no other fees and students receive a printed certificate suitable for framing and a receipt to be used for tax purposes.

We are happy to announce that Florida based, Dr. Nicole Kimmel, Ph.D, president of the American Association of Natural Wellness Practitioners (AANWP) offered the AANWP Advisory Board position to Dr. Shawn Pourgol, MBA, DC, DO, DN, PhD (Osteopathy Hospital president) which he accepted.

AANWP includes special boards for naprapathy and manual osteopathy which permits members to work across the United States as naprapaths and/or osteopathic manual practitioners.

Dr. Pourgol is already working with AANWP to create a list of accredited manual osteopathy and naprapathy schools to ensure only those individuals with adequate education would become eligible to join AANWP in order to protect the public.

I created the copyrighted "OSTEOPATHY WELLNESS PROTOCOL" as a way to help manual osteopaths access the 70% of population that are pain free.

Within the next few months I will be teaching the Osteopathy Wellness Protocol as a continuing education program, available to all health professionals.

We at Pourgol Osteopathy Chronic Pain Hospital offer only non-medical, hands-on, manual osteopathic and naprapathic care for management of chronic pain from disorders that have origins in the connective tissue, muscles, bones and joints of the body that result in low back pain, some types of headaches, hip and knee pain, shoulder and elbow pain, foot and ankle pain, wrist and hand pain, and temporomandibular joint pain.
All our chronic pain specialists are manual osteopaths and some may also have a degree in naprapathy. We do not offer any other health services such as physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, athletic therapy, naturopathy, or acupuncture. We do not offer any medical care such as prescribing medications or performing surgery. Our treatments are hands-on manual therapy.
On the day of your visit please avoid smoking, alcohol and large meals for one hour before & after your osteopathic treatment and hydrate yourself by drinking plenty of water before & after your session. We provide scent free, hypo-allergic treatment rooms. Please avoid wearing perfumes before your visit.
