Merry Christmas from the Cycle Peru family!

It has been an eventful year for us here at Cycle Peru, with the addition of our littlest guide in training, our daughter Joanna Ysabel.
Born in June we are adjusting to the challenges of being new parents, so thanks to everyone for their support while we make these adjustments and we look forward to balancing family life with our wonderful little cycling adventures!

On that note this is our hard working local guide, Ysabel, taking Selfies as she waits for our group to come out of Wayna Picchu.
Ysabel doesn’t ride bikes but she works hard behind the scenes to make our trips perfect, preparing lunches, telling local stories and when required organising small vigilante manhunts for lost cameras!!
Work doesn’t feel so much like work when you have a great team to back you up!

I have been having so much fun out on the road without August Cycle Peru group that I forgot to post photos!
Now we are all safely tucked up in our hotels in Cusco or jetting back home, here’s a very quick look at what we have been up to for the last few weeks.
Such an amazing group of like-minded travellers, it was a pleasure to get to know them all and felt like I was out riding with a group of mates!
Looking forward to welcoming our next group in just another 3 weeks to do it all over again!

The end of an era.. our faithful fleet of Specialized Bikes all ready to go to their new homes after 6 years with us!
Now time to start getting ready our shiny new KHS fleet to take their maiden voyage in July!

, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, is featured in the cover of the latest edition of National Geographic Traveler! There's no doubt that our Incan citadel is one of the most important tourist sites in the world.

A snapshot of the Peruvian wildlife you can expect to see on our cycling adventures.. Mountain Parakeets, Vicuña, Llama, Viscacha (Andean rabbit) and the Andean Condor!

Memories from July 2012.. A warm up ride cycling the Sogay Valley and the lovely Merran Anderson modelling the local fashions with Rudy Vargaya Conza and our faithful chauffeur Alfredo Medina in Llachon on the Capachica Peninsula, Lake Titicaca.

We've all seen some good Strava art over the years, but this one is probably the Greatest Of All Time. Goat it? Thanks to the many GCN fans who shared this.

We have been printing some canvas pics this week to finally decorate our new(ish) house, so have been trawling through our many Cycle Peru photos, and we can't quite believe we have 6 amazing years worth of cycling memories with so many wonderful people!! How time flies eh?
So I thought as I gear up to fly over for Season number 7 we should share some of our best pics with all of you too.
This one is one of my all time favorites, I like to call the Colors of Peru, can't take credit though, this was taken by a client, Peter Winter, on our first ever operating trip in May 2011.
