Inti Raymi, Peru’s Festival of the Sun, takes place every year in Cusco on June (the winter solstice in the Southern Hemisphere).
Visitors come from all over the world to witness a spectacular tribute to the sun.

Inti Raymi is an ancient Inca festival filled with rituals and traditions to thank the sun and the life it provides.
The ceremony took place each year at a time when the sun was furthest from the earth- the winter solstice. Thousands of people gathered to plead with the sun god to return and give life to their crops.

Inti Raymi, el Festival del Sol de Perú, se lleva a cabo todos los años en Cusco enJunio (el solsticio de invierno en el hemisferio sur).
Vienen visitantes de todo el mundo para presenciar un espectacular homenaje al sol.

Inti Raymi es una antigua fiesta inca llena de rituales y tradiciones para agradecer al sol y la vida que brinda.
La ceremonia tenía lugar cada año en el momento en que el sol estaba más alejado de la tierra: el solsticio de invierno. Miles de personas se reunieron para suplicarle al dios sol que regresara y diera vida a sus cultivos.
