It has been a busy XC (+ soccer + flag football) season and not only for my boys 😅

150 sandwich cookies for BHMS XC banquet (not doing that again 🤣) and 175 cookies for the XC DHS banquet (2022 GHSA XC State Champs!).

Food post! Home-made gnocchi with a simple tomato sauce inspired by my dinner in Italy.

A big shout-out to the heirloom tomatoes, sweet onions, basil and garlic from ! The sauce took me about 30 minutes to make and was creamy and sweet without any cream and sugar!
This is what high quality produce tastes like. I do not want to compare my cooking with Osteria Bonellis, but if you think you can only find good tomatoes in Italy, think again!
