A MAF sensor is no different a P0101 or a no code lean condition. Use the 1:1 rule for a quick verification without getting out of the car.

The trick is for every 1 liter of engine size, expect 1gram per second at idle. Example a 5.4l engine you should expect to see 5.4g/s at idle.

No, it doesn’t work with all cars and more testing is still needed, pinpoint testing. This is a test to get you into the right area faster.
