These pictures were taken on the (17/02/23), showing women gathering at Markham bridge lodge to discuss with John Ben about their roles as subcommittees in the Angkumlum Estate. The roles and responsibilities of these subcommittees are to investigate more about economical and social issues. Collation of information, documentation, and presentation. They will act as chairpersons to distribute responsibilities among other committees to work on areas such as welfare, climate change, law and order, economical services, community development, external affairs, gender and vulnerable groups.

Angkumlum Estate encourages women to participate equally with their male counterparts to provide safe and positive environment for the people living in the estate and the surrounding hamlets.
