Shalom FaithLife Prayer and Ministry Partners,
I value your prayers as I prepare to teach on the topic: Father Heart of God at YWAM Lae Discipleship Training School next week. We are in the 8th week of our lecture phase. Thank you!
Shabbat Shalom to all the friends of YWAM Lae.
Scripture: Mark 3:31-35
(From my Devotional Word for YWAM Lae family on 26/2/2024)
To Family and Friends of YWAM Lae:
The Concept of True Family
In the portion of scripture above, Jesus defines the truth about His true family. Notice that He is not disowning His physical relationship with His mother and brothers. Jesus simply states the truth that spiritual kinship goes beyond physical relationships. His family thought, "He was out of His mind" (see 3:21). The Scribes said, "He was possessed by Beelzebul" (see 3:22), so His family came to see Him and take Him back to Nazareth. Instead of going back with His physical family back to Nazareth, Jesus asked, "Who are my mother and my brothers?" and as He looked at those who were sitting around Him, and he rebuked His family for thinking that,"He was out of His mind." Jesus affirmed another group, "those who do the will of God" as His brother, sister, and mother. The phrase, "those who do the will of God," is the ultimate definition of our call to discipleship. This speaks of us, embracing each other as true spiritual brothers as sisters, regardless of our physical family backgrounds, nationalities, tribal affiliations, and financial status we must truly embrace and accept one another as true spiritual brothers and sisters, a true family of God. Our spiritual identification with Jesus as His brothers and sisters is by association as those "who do the will of God." Let us follow Jesus' examples by being generous with our time, talent, and treasures in sharing with true spiritual brothers and sisters to edify and build each other up in our most holy faith. Amen.
It is written: "Jesus, who makes people holy, and those who are made holy are from the same family. So he is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters."
Hebrews 2:11 NCV.
We are from the same family because we are born of the same Spirit. Amen.
Your brother Winterford
Let us motivate one another on to doing great works for our King Jesus Christ!
To Faithlife Family & Friends of YWAM Lae:
I ask the Holy Spirit to help you live life the right-way, so you can be kind and honest in your dealings with others. May you enjoy the benefits of living life the right-way, which is you will live a long life; others will respect you and treat you fairly (see Proverbs 21:21).
Shabbat Shalom
To: Coworkers and friends of YWAM Lae,
Recall the words of Jesus, "we are not of the world." John 17: 14, 16 NKJV. Thou we live in the world, our true citizenship is in heaven. Therefore, our lives are governed by divine sets of values and systems of the kingdom of our citizenship. With this said, I'd like to encourage you to focus your energy on the things that have eternal values. It is written: "Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm." Colossians 3:2 TPT.
May you live a life of service to our Lord Jesus Christ and invest your time in becoming more like Jesus in His death and resurrection. Amen.
To: Coworkers and friends of YWAM Lae:
Proverbs 4:18 speaks of a gradual progression for our growth and increase in Christ as we follow Him on the path of righteousness.
1. The word "path" denotes a course or direction in which we are to be walking as individual followers of Jesus Christ, but also as a community of believers that are following Jesus and serving Him together. This implies that we must keep walking on the God ordained life's path.
2. The righteous person must have a depth of insight. The primary sense of Proverbs 4:18 has to do with the direction in life. However, we need depth of insight into how to walk on the path of the righteous with wisdom. This is where we need the help of the Holy Spirit, to walk the path of the righteous, the right way. The psalmist testified, "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105).
May God shine His light and shed His glory to make our life's path brighter and brighter. Amen.
Together We Serve!
Speaking of believing and receiving through faith filled prayers, Jesus said: "Whatever things you ask when you pray, BELIEVE that you RECEIVE them, and you will have them" (see Mark 11:22-25). Embrace this faith in God-life. Really, embrace the Holy Spirit, don't just sing about Him, teach about Him or pretend that you know Him. Have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit, and walk with Him and you will have revival in your faithlife and your prayerlife. Amen.
My faithlife family and friends, this morning, I pray the LORD will go before you and lead you always, and as the LORD satisfies, strengthens and nourishes your life, may you thrive in doing the works of Jesus as the Holy Spirit makes all grace abound to you. Amen.
I give thanks to God our Heavenly Father, as I am praying for you all, my faithlife family and friends, coworkers and partners. I ask the Holy Spirit to envelope you with the presence of our great God and Father. I ask the Holy Spirit to empower you to continue to do the works of Jesus. May you increase in every good work produced by faith, your labor for souls motivated by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Our Protection | Our Strength | Our Helper
Hebrew verb azar means: to help, support, assist, deliver. The verb is mainly used with reference to the LORD, God. When we do study words like help, support, or assist, we learn that our God is an expert in furnishing help, support, assist, and He delivers us in our seasons of uncertainty and times of trouble.
Encouragement for today:
God said, "He will never leave us or forsake us..." (see Heb. 13:5). This means God is with you, He is on your side, He is for you to help you, and to protect you, and strengthen you. Today, lean on Jesus and learn from Him. Amen.
LOVE NEVER ENDS | MERCIES NEVER STOP. "God's Love & God's Mercies are New Every Morning."
The Lord’s love never ends; his mercies never stop. They are new every morning; Lord, your loyalty is great. - Lamentation 3 : 22-23 NCV
HESED - The mercies of God, is the word hesed, which speaks of the mercies of God and the
covenant love and loyalty of the LORD that leads to rahamim, (compassion, mercy).
ENCOURAGEMENT FOR TODAY
Each dawning of a new day give us hope in fresh mercies and compassions from God. No matter, how bad yesterday was, as FaithLife people of God we can look to the new morning with faith and hope. Amen.
BITTACHON - Trust in God is called bittachon, in Hebrew, a word that comes from a root word meaning, "to lean on, feel safe, or be confident."
Encouragement for today: Hold on to your confidence in God. Trust and obey God, and keep contending for the faith. Amen.
Our staff Elizabeth and Chrsty are developing amazing and wonderful ministry with One Hope at Morobe Province!
Pray and celebrate Jesus with them!
All Glory to Jesus!
The true followers of Jesus Christ are lovers and worshippers of God. They love the presence of God. They love living in the presence of God as true disciples living with purpose to see a greater kingdom expansion from generation to generation, and from nation to nation. May the LORD stir our hearts to believe for greater things that are yet to come. Papa God, let Your kingdom come, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

HEBREWS 1:2 (NKJV), "And now in these final days, He has spoken through the Son."
As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must have Jesus Frequency to live moment by moment, day by day in-tune with Papa God. He wants us to be so in-tune with Him that when He speaks something to our heart and mind through the Son, by the Holy Spirit, we pay attention to the habits in our lives that causes us to be out-of-tune with the Papa God. If we change when the Holy Spirit convicts us, we will go from strength to strength and from glory to glory to be conformed to the image of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Eraga@YWAMLae.
As followers of Jesus Christ we must understand that, "not every money, properties or other essential resources promised us is from God." Go to God and hear Him clearly, if you are to accept what was promised. Promises can be a trap, if the promises are not from God. Be careful of the words that come with promises and understand that you have a responsibility to God, to your personal integrity and to the organization or congregation that God has entrusted to your stewardship. If you are not sure, ask God the Holy Spirt to help you discern the spirit behind the promises and give you the wisdom to make a Spirit-led decision.

To: Prayer Partners:
I trust this finds you well and I want to thank you on behalf of all of us at YWAM Lae for your prayers that we value so much. Thank you.
PNG YWAM Family Gathering in Port Moresby is happening at YWAM Port Moresby Campus (The Jetty), and our gathering is going well. We started on 1/10/2023 for leaders/elders meetings. On 4th October, PNG YWAM staff joined the leaders/elders and we are continuing with our family gathering. All together we have participants from 17 provinces of PNG, 15 nationalities (Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Jamaica/UK, Fiji, Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Samoa, South Africa, Switzerland & PNG) that speak 25 languages.
11 of us from YWAM Lae are participating in the PNG YWAM Family gathering and we will return to Lae sometime next week, Lord willing. We hope to travel the way we came for the family gathering. We hope to fly to Popondetta from Port Moresby and travel by land to the coast of Popondetta to catch the dinghy back to Lae. We hope that as we travel be dinghy, there will be open doors for us to minister the word of God in couple of the villages along the way to Lae. The photo below is taken when we took 4 dinghies to transport 30 of us from YWAM Lae and YWAM Yonki to travel by sea from Lae to the coast of Popondetta, travel by land to Popondetta town and after three days of traveling, we flew to Port Moresby from Popondetta. We made every effort to get to Port Moresby for the PNG YWAM Family Gathering and we will make every effort to return to Lae to continue serving our King Jesus by serving His people and continue to give back to the people of the land. Kindly pray with us and for us for our travel back to Lae. We value your prayers. Thank you.

Week three of the DTS complete!
The topic this week was identity. Knowing Who’s we are is crucial to knowing who we are.
Know God. Make God known.
First week of Lectures done! This group has come from across PNG and even the globe to know God and make God known. This week we have worshipped, studied, learned about hearing God’s voice, worked hard, played hard, prayed hard and so much more. It’s hard to believe one week ago we were just receiving the first students, now friendships are being made and built upon as we go into the weekend and look forward to next week’s topic of Sin, Repentance, Restitution and Reconciliation.
We value your prayers!
Go!
“He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.”
Luke 10:2-3 (NIV)
We are excited to welcome the students arriving this weekend to what we are calling the Go! DTS at YWAM Lae this January-June.
We invite you to join us in praying over this school for lives to be transformed as we go deeper in knowing God and making God known.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
This is why we celebrate.
